Thanks UH for taking my six. Apologies for not getting to you earlier, a little shagged, everything bottle-necked here for a while. Have to admit you have got me guessing a bit as to your ID. Not important, but you certainly seem to know me. Will PM you ref recruiting etc, and probably catch you on My Space down the road.
V&A saw me about six months ago, just before the cold set in. Must have been quite a winter?
K2?, impressive, who’s doing it, Global or A-Tours?
Again, thanks for the wingmanship, seems to have a couple of them passing hornblende!

what a thread!
started off in TC, drifted off round the country a bit, got hijacked by our overseas friends for a while, now time to bring it full circle. Band 6 was mentioned. What should be the requirements for that? I will start it off by suggesting it should be selected validations which historically and continuously have had difficulty attracting and validating ATCO`S. Any takers?

Surely Marlboroman is a wind up?...
he sounds very much like a poster on the mil threads who goes by a different moniker (calls himself Like-minded - worth searching his posts) but throws phrases around like he's script writing for the world's corniest sit com. see - http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=293632
By the way Marlboro man - in your first post you extolled one of the virtues of the 'natural' controllers you are honoured to know as being 'fast talking'.. now I may not be a natural controller, but I'm not too shabby ...
I ensure that any trainee of mine does not 'talk fast' as they will end up confusing pilots and will invariably be asked to repeat themselves - mind you - in your fantasy land, you may only speak to natural pilots who are natural listeners.
Over here, most of us teach that if its getting busy, we slow down our delivery, for a variety of reasons, amongst which are to make sure that we stay in control and that we don't cock up.... Not an issue for naturals, I realise.
Which one is you Marlboroman... dude?!

Gotta love the pigeon-holing going on here by some people! I haven't laughed so much in ages.
If only the wind-up had been more subtle, some might have fallen for it!

UH - "A more holistic perspective of ATM"
Mmmm?, That exact phrase has been used by a Manager at a large airport just West of London this very week.
What a small World we live in!
(or same Management Consultancy course perhaps?)
