Hello, Saisay,

i submitted my application on the 24th of June and was automatically replied to with a link to begin my online assessment. I did it immediately (it was a literacy and numeracy test) and received a reply within half an hour with another link to proceed with the online assessment. I did this the following day, the 25th, which was a graphic and diagram reading assessment as well as some logical/rule following tests. Two days later i received the confirmation i had passed Stage 1 and should choose the day of my Stage 2 assessment in Fareham. I picked the 18th of July.

I now have approximately two weeks to study for the ATC Knowledge Test and am wondering whether and how i should prepare for the FEAST and DART tests.

I hope this was useful.

I am now waiting for my stage 2 of NATS selection process which is due in 2 weeks time and would like to know if there is any recommended software to practice for FEAST and DART. So far, i've found these out:

SkyTest® - Preparation Software for DLR Test (Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Turkish Airlines, Royal Jordanian, SunExpress, DFS), Cargolux, FEAST (Eurocontrol), Austro Control, Skyguide

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...sttesttraining

My default position is that you should look to practice as much as possible before these tests (hence my query) but i've read some opinions in this forum either advising against doing this or downplaying its importance by sugesting training with some common puzzle games.

I'm looking for testimonials of people who have made it through (or nearly got it) and can speak from experience. Even better if someone is a trainer of ATCs.

Thank you all and good flights.
Hey guys

I'm at the same stage as PLima and was wondering the same so if there's anyone to help me as well would be great. Or if you PLima can pm if you find any help.
Sorry to steal post aha.
Thanks guys

Stage2

Well having passed stage 0 a few weeks back and stage 1 yesterday I started swatting on what to do next. As I was reading the above post my invitation to book onto stage 2 arrived!

I take that as good karma.

So will be following this thread with interest as going to give myself a few weeks at least to get up to speed on FEAST DART !

All the best

hi all,

im looking to apply to take stage 1 tests... before I do this I want to be best prepared for the questions. is there any books or website I can go on which will give me example questions/ revision notes?

ive found a website which if you pay for you can do mock tests. is this something worth paying for?

thanks!!

Watkins121, there are a handful of practice/example questions before you start the stage 0+1 tests, so you won't go in completely blind. If you want a bit more, just search for free aptitude test practice on google.

Stage 0 + 1

Hello watkins121, to answer your question a little bit of keyboardery will show you Saville Consulting administer the initial on-line tests, Stage 0 and 1.

They have on-line practice and PDF printable guides if you have a glimpse around their site.

Might come in handy.

Hi everyone,

Like many others on this thread I've signed up specially for this topic. I'm attending the Stage II assessment day on July 22nd - I chose the latest possible date so it doesn't conflict with my degree at the minute.

Couple of questions for those who have already done these tests: do ALL applicants need to bring their original birth certificates with them? The email I recieved was vague and they haven't replied to my request for clarification;

Also, with the FEAST/DART tests, do they bare any resemblance to the series of fun, quirky games you will find on the NATS website? I'm looking to improve my spatial awareness between now and the assessment.

Thanks all.

I just brought my passport and it was fine. Think thats what everyone else did too. I certainly didn't see any birth certificates getting handed over!

Hi Guys,

Great forum, has been very informative and helpful!

I have my stage 2 next week. Just wondering how everyone has found it so far? Was it harder than what you anticipated? Do we need to know everything in regards to the planes? Any help will be grateful and good luck to anyone who have their assessment soon!

Thanks Seeg. The closer it gets to the assessment day, the more nervous I feel!
