Well I guess that is that then.

If people are hearing after attending yesterday then I think that gives a fairly damning indication that the ones who haven't heard aren't through.

davidluiz - the recruitment process has had a complete shakeup over the last couple of years. Go with what the email tells you, not what you read on PPRUNE.

and sorry, no I can't tell you about the structure of the day. They asked nicely that we didn't

I was quite confident that I would advance to the next stage (I was at Birmingham on the 22nd at 12pm), but haven't gotten a response yet so I'm starting to worry a bit

Anyone else from Birmingham heard from NATS yet, aside from Al4x? Good luck to everyone else waiting! Here's a tune I think we can all relate to:

I was at Southampton on 25th at 1pm. Already received an email inviting me for the stage 2 assessment. They said you would receive an email within 48hrs if you had passed because they want people of the courses asap, however could be up to 30 days. Just have a little patience.

As for the tests, there is nothing on the test that isn't on the training material provided in the email they send to you.

Hey, I've not heard anything back yet!

However, I'm still as positive as I was when I completed the tests. Granted it's sometimes a struggle to maintain said positivity, without going insane ha

The way I picked it up on the day, was that we would DEFINITELY receive an e-mail within 15 or 30 working days telling us how we got on. I do not remember hearing anything about 48 hours, like other folk have. Not accusing anyone of lying - just saying that we weren't told that. Perhaps it depends on the group size?

I've signed up again for this. My first and only time was in 2008 aged 20! Been busy since but always had that what if in the back of my head. Can't say it would be ideal to get posted far away from my home, especially owning a house and having a wife now. I'd happily commute down to London so would prefer to be on approach if I ever did make that stage.

It seems things have changed since I last did it, I've just had the invite to complete the selection test online, I take it this is a new thing?

You do realise that you will be posted where NATS need you and that there is no approach based in London?

Hi,
I attended in Southampton yesterday and I got my invitation email for the next stage at 9:00 this morning.
We were told that all successful applicants would be told within 24-48 hours so you could apply for the next step quicker and if you didn't make it they would let you know within 15-30 days.

Good luck to all of you still waiting.

Really? Anyone else from Birmingham hear about this 24-48 hour business? Our group definitely wasn't told this, but it kinda makes sense... That's a real bummer if that's the case.

No, we (11am group) heard nothing. I know someone in the 3pm group at Birmingham, and he also heard nothing about 24-48 hours. So that's the 10am, 11am, 12noon & 3pm groups heard nothing about 24-48 hrs. Strange

The reference made to the time frame for results, was when we completed the cube paper when the NATS woman said "you will find out withing 15 working days, or, because we're all over the country at the moment, it might take up to 30 working days". Something along those lines. Absolutely no mention of 24-48 hours whatsoever.

If you have passed you will know about it. If you have failed you will know about it. Just kick back and let the confirmation come when it comes.

Simples!

The recruitment team are back on site apparently. Hopefully not to long now.

Not holding out much hope though to be honest, the whole thing just seems a little confused, but as the poster above says, no point worrying about it now, decision has already been made, just got to wait now.

No Response

Hi All,

Just signed up to prune but I have been reading since I applied to NATS, I was in BHX last Friday and no response yet received from NATS.

Seems only those from SouthHampton on 14/19 got responses so far. Or did I see someone from 25th got a response.

It's almost pointless guessing but I estimate that there would have been 200-300 there on Friday, would others agree, about fifty per session. And I know from my group only 25 got through to the Ikea assembly quiz....

That leaves Yorkshire-21 & Birmingham-22 still to get replies.

Must be well over 1000 doing stage 1, madness

Best of luck to you all whatever way it goes

Radioactiveman,

Back in October / November there were 22000 that sat stage 1. The HR guys will get through the pile of people when they can. If you haven't heard anything yet then you are still in the running. Not that this in anyway will stop you checking your emails every five minutes.
