EK 29/30 was added at LHR ,a couple of years ago,we can make space for another here in the afternoon as well!!

Services to Erbil (15th August) and Baghdad (17th September) will be resumed (Basra already served double daily). Phuket will be increased to 11 weekly from 1st December. New daily flight to Panama City from 1st February and DXB-SIN-MEL will get the A380 from 1st March.

MH will cancel its daily nonstop flights to AMS and CDG at the end of January and will start codeshare with EK from February. LHR remains the only European destination of MH.

70th A380 was delivered to EK which means 50% (70 out of 140 ordered) are now delivered to EK.

Emirates fleet plans for 2016 & 2017
 

In 2015 EK took the delivery of 15 A380 and 10 B77W. One B77F also joined the fleet.

Next year EK will take delivery of 20 A380 and 16 B77W. On the other side EK will retire in total 26 aircrafts: 12 A332, 4 A343, 1 A345, 6 B772ER, 2 B773 and the first B77W. Further 13 aircrafts will be retired in 2016 and 2017.

By end of 2017 the fleet will consist of B77L, B77W and A380 with an average fleet age below 6 years.
