Numbers not out for July yet, but i am led to believe that best to bhx has been about 32 so far but regularly they are above the 20 mark.

shedrule 19th July 2007 22:27

Everything about the Newquay service has disappeared off the flywhoosh site, I think it can be reasonably inferred from this that its been dropped.

Hope they kept the receipt for the surfboard they used to advertise it.

baggagebill 20th July 2007 07:59

God that was short lived !! Wonder whats up then ? I had heard a while back that if whoosh went for the newquay route they might lose the route development funding they were getting, heard nothing since.

virginblue 20th July 2007 08:43

Maybe had to do with the apparent loss of a decent day return option from BHX on the days the aircraft would have continued to NQY?

Saw this on the DUB website:

Dundee White Eagle Aviation WEA513 21-07-2007 11:55

Could this be FLYWHOOSH doing time trials on the route??

baggagebill 21st July 2007 15:14

Just a charter i'm afraid !! Have been doing a few for the open golf.

News on the cancelation of the newquay service....

http://www.thecourier.co.uk/output/2...10025771t0.asp

So maybe another new route in the ogging ?

llanfairpg 21st July 2007 19:23

whats the latest on Dundee and will Whoosh go Whoosh?

baggagebill 21st July 2007 19:47

Far from going whoosh, from what i have read and heard whoosh are doing well. Numbers are very good and in fact they say that other routes are in the pipeline !! Mmmm, maybe a manchester again ? Dublin or competition for scot airways to london ?

llanfairpg 21st July 2007 20:05

History tells us that airlines with daft names go tits up quickly

baggagebill 22nd July 2007 09:43

Mmmmm ? Virgin still going strong then ?

baggagebill 13th August 2007 19:43

Bit of bad news about the Scot-Airways Reservations at Dundee, but future looks bright with city-jet/air france.

No more news about flywhoosh and more routes yet ?

Isn't HIAL due to take over shortly ?

james170969 13th August 2007 21:59

I noticed on teletext that there was a flight from Dundee to Prestwick this morning (or was it yesterday?). The flight number was JEM44. Does anyone know the purpose of this flight and which airline it was?

WOWBOY 13th August 2007 23:38

After the cancellation of Whoosh's NQY service, rumours did start to surface that Whoosh were looking at serving PLH instead.

Does anyone have any more on this??

baggagebill 14th August 2007 15:00

Just tried to book a flight from dundee to belfast and it is full !!!! I just about fell off my seat with shock.

Well congrats to flywhoosh are due then, from what i have seen in the times i have been down at airport, numbers are very good. So come on Mr Murcat...... give me that route to dublin i desire !!!

the_fish@blueyonder. 14th August 2007 19:20

Does anyone have any idea about the Yellow Waterplane that's in DND at the moment? Saw it today from the bus, had a black cover over the front of the cabin.

i know 15th August 2007 00:23

its in for Maintenance, Whoosh have now cancelled all belfast flights on tuesday and thursdays. Poor numbers???????

honest man 15th August 2007 02:32

It was Jetflights Falcon20

wingman863 15th August 2007 15:15

I just checked the webiste and they're still for sale as far as I can see. Fine for the dates I was looking at buying anyway.

smith 15th August 2007 20:15

The yellow float plane is a huskey I think, its brand new, the rudder steering on the water is pulling a bit and its getting realigned. It is going to be used for float plane training at one of the loch's nearby.

shedrule 16th August 2007 07:53

The Tuesday rotation to Belfast and the Friday morning service to Birmingham have both been dropped according to this mornings paper.

Also various things going on this week connected to HIAL taking over at the beginning of September.
