I thought this was an aviation forum not a political one. May I suggest you make your personal comments like that LTNman on a different forum. Cheer up please.

Aviation will always be linked to politics. I was pointing out the expansion application has more chance of success now.

We do not need any political groups called dodgy. Be they local or national. Yes, politics is deeply involved in aviation but we have no idea where / how it will be involved in the next years.

Last warning. If you want to talk about politics and past/present/future govt - go to Jet Blast.

As the airport operator also has loss of income insurance, according to their accounts this calamity has cost them little as they made a profit of £81.2m before tax. On the other hand, LRT made an operating loss of over £207m for their last financial year but it is worth pointing out they have no liability or income stream from the car park. This is a staggering sum for a company that has no staff on its payroll and was set up just to collect rents and concession fees.

A few interesting movements today.

Icelandair 757 in from Marrakesh, assuming a world tour.

DHL 767 from Amsterdam, on a flight number used out of EMA.

Anyone have any indication if the teams are still using LTN ahead of the cup final?

The DHL 767-300 has recently landed and is the former G-OBYG (so no stranger to LTN or me!)
