Apologies if my post looked like a raving brexit lunatic post but i am absolutley sick of the whole thing now and sick of the propaganda that the mainstream spew every single day and i wish it was over. My main question was just about the lack of flag on the UK aircraft thats all.
Putting your flag on every thing is a sign of lack of confidence - new nation have the flag EVERYWHERE - old one know who the are and don't need it
Think Norway - only been independent for just over 100 years - flags everywhere - the UK - Netherlands - Italy - not so much
The brits don't even put their name on the STAMPS for heavens sake - because you were first - everyone else had to play catchup.... same as in so many sports and other things - THE Royal Academy, THE Geological Society, THE NATIONAL GALLEY - no reason to add "london" or "Britain" is there.......................

Couldn't agree more.
None whatsoever.
(Indeed some might even argue that, in the culinary business especially, not letting on that you have a British connection is, how should I phrase this, "quite a smart move" ? )

From what I am hearing Easyjet are due to announce Manchester to Bari, Jerez, Calamata and Nice tommorow, I wonder if this will be just Manchester or if flights from other airports to be announced, watch this space.
Well the EU flags are off the G- fleet but unlike Austrian and Swiss, no national flag. Small detail.

Is it some sort of requirements thing? I struggle to think of a major UK carrier (although I'm sure I'm missing one) that has had the Union Flag on their fleet next to the reg. Certainly BA, Virgin and Jet2 don't and bmi didn't
EZY no longer interested in Alitalia.I found it extremely difficult to believe they ever were, but what do I know?
