short field takeoff aircraft still need sufficient runway length for a fully loaded and fuelled aircraft eg, canaries, turkey etc

Galway runway length: 1,289m/4230ft
Donegal runway length: 1496m/4908ft
Sligo airport runway length: 1,199m/3,933ft
There's a bit of a difference in runway length, so no, to Ireland at least.

If you search for flights from FRA using Ryanair fare finder you see lots of destinations offered for 4, 5 or 7 euros to fly in May. With FRA charges those discounted seats must be heavy loss making. I think they might be able to offset airport charges with ancillary revenue when they offer those dirt cheap lead-in fares at HHN but I really doubt it is possible at FRA fees levels.

Oh there is a limit. Once upon a time many years ago I had difficulty buying Ryanair flight because the price was 0,01 SEK. My bank could not process transaction because it was to small, that was about 0,001 eur and their process converted that to 0 making payment fail. I think I needed to add several imaginary friends to fly with me to be able to pay

They’ve already flown from INV & HUY, nothing stopping them flying to NWI in the past, been summer holiday charters there for years. GWY is actually closed as a commercial airport (or is very close to it), NOC & SNN just up & downnthe road too. LDY not far from CFN, SXL no chance same with CBG (STN quite close) & OXF. Maybe WAT if they ever get that runway extension, a return to where it all began & a LON route would do well but then again, not exactly a million miles from Dub & ORK. Stornoway & Sumburgh, who knows? Few weekly flights could work I suppose.

Well, going by their website, Edinburgh to Stansted drops from 4-5 flights each week day to just 4 flights a week - Thur Fri and Sunday evenings and Saturday morning, and no flights at all after October. It's not just Flybe that can't make money on domestic flights.

Maybe, but I suspect that these domestic passengers are less likely to purchase the additional items - seat selection, checked bags, etc - which now form such a large part of their revenue. Remember that the actual cost per person is about £50. I suspect they're not achieving anything like that.
