Someones got a bee in their bonnet, just trying to make light of the situation
We all know Buzz was around at STN previously (2000-2004 for those wondering) and it's always nice to see a revived brand from time to time

Used Manchester-Belfast on Thursday afternoon. I am sure half the pax were priority boarding. What I noticed was how many were using backpacks which are not taken off pax. The overhead lockers were completely full between cases and backpacks. So bring in rules to control bags and create a different problem. Ryanair and other low cost airlines will never control this issue until they accept they have to charge less, a lot less, to check bags in, as the fares charged are robbery. Ryanair carried a lot of bags on this flight that they didn't earn a penny from.

The impact of Buzz on FR is overlooked. It was Buzz that gave them their extensive French regional network (the likes of La Rochelle, Bergerac etc), Buzz that gave them the first Spanish route (Gerona & Murcia) and Buzz that got FR into some more mainstream cities like Berlin. Many of the Buzz routes that were retained are still there today.

Ahhhh fond memories of Buzz!!!
Mostly involving some cabin crew, my Irish accent and Ireland rugby jersey at a Pprune Bash around 2001!!!
I think there was an argument with a Sabena captain about having another drink around 2am and convincing him that his FO could be PF all day!!!!

A new airport in the Ryanair's network will be Odessa, Ukraine. At least three routes to/from there: Krakow (again), Katowice, Wroclaw. I'd describe Odessa as a typical Summer destination (Black Sea spa town), but as Wroclaw and Katowice will start only in October, these routes will be used as workforce transfer channel, at least in Winter. An official press conference is due today.
