Better hurry up with those stands then
UK and China have agreed a deal to increase flights between the 2 nations
Under the new deal passenger flights can now increase from the current maximum of 40 per week for each nation to up to 100. There will be no limit on the number of all-cargo services, creating new opportunities for UK trade and businesses.

Interesting. Will watch to see what this does. Is it just high summer? Hopefully initial high fares are just the first fare buckets. Odd suggested flight times.
Cant see EZY getting too anxious.
Aegean offer a very good product compared to BA.

Load factor is not an indication of how well the route is doing if the passengers are on discounted tickets or promotions or using miles. Not forgetting staff travel too.
Flown on it several times and has never been absolutely full but certainly seems to be popular.

ORD (UA) = -2% growth with 8,987 passengers
JFK (AA and DL) = 111% growth with 18,615 passengers
EWR (UA) = -10% growth with 15,554 passengers
August:
ORD (UA) = -5% growth with 8,328 passengers
JFK (AA and DL) = 118% growth with 18,911 passengers
EWR (UA) = -12% growth with 15,242 passengers
The addition of DL has had an affect on the existing US routes, EWR in particular. Not sure as to what degree though as the likes of PHL from GLA also recorded negative growth.

I doubt they will consolidate on a widebody any time soon. Unless they use a 777, then that will be a drastic cut in seat numbers.
EDI is within range for the 757, so they'll always use 757s there, keeping 767/777s available for markets further into Europe outside of the 757s range.

I think the thoughts were around consolidating the twice daily 757 service to a once daily widebody in the summer. The rest of the year would surely remain a single daily 757.
