Nice to see TLS return
Any hints that the seasonal NQY could be extended into the winter on a reduced schedule. I know previously it was hinted at and then didn't happen.

No hints but room in the current schedule however the BHX press release mentions Nantes increasing to daily in winter yet only 3 a week bookable but there are at least two gaps in what is looking like an excellent winter schedule. 56 weekday flights.
Toulouse is on the 175 per the seat-maps.
Some aircraft swaps for winter with Dusseldorf showing all DH8D during the week, which is brave in one way up against double daily A320's and one CRJ9.
Amsterdam have 4 out of 6 flights on the 175 now making 6 175's, 1 x 195 and up to 6 DH8D's.

More flights in the same small terminal. It is time the Ontario Teachers pension fund spent some money on their investment. Any business that has to rely on parking fines for unwary motorists shouldn't really be in business!

TS Montreal ex GLA has been reduced to a double drop with YYZ mid-late season (and ? dropped for S17) so im guessing its not 'setting the heather alight' esp with great loads on new ACr and WestJet. Montreal was always an odd choice IMO, cant see it otherwise flourishing elsewhere.

I guess a mix of crewing on the 175 & 195.
A couple of late starts by 175's yesterday with JF at 11am to EGC and "JA" didn't start flying until around midday yesterday (Lyon) & the spare 195 has been used to cover for another 195 (G-FBEI), which has not flown since the 23rd. Your Dash 8 was probably destined originally for the 07.15 BHX-GLA which delayed one hour and they used a BHD based Dash that arrived on BE401 and delayed the outbound BE402 (nearly 3 hours) until it had been to Glasgow and back.
Also the BHX 195 (EF) landed last night from EFL and has not flown today with the a 175 operating the BE3001 this morning to Paris and this was swapped with the Doncaster 195 on the return and at present Doncaster has a 175 on based flights.

Sunwing stuck in Girona for over 28 hours since yesterday morning. Antalya passengers bused to Manchester for the 763 with it operating back into BHX in the early hours and it then went on the Sunwing early morning Faro. They have delayed this afternoons Catania for the arrival of the Sunwing by the look of it.

Has Emirates reduced their frequency ?
Just looking at BHX departures and notice again that the morning Emirates is not showing. Have Emirates quietly reduced their frequency. I couldn't see any obvious information about the Birmingham frequency.

Emirates have reduced frequency on certain days only, and not a permanent thing.
They have been using 3 class aircraft on a number of 777 and 380 flights,as this is the low season,so nothing to get concerned about just yet.
What is more of a concern is that it would appear that due to the referendum result BHX is to lose out on an easyJet base, that was to be announced within weeks.
Obviously last weeks result will have consequences all over the country, although I believe it will be short term only. However this is a Dissappointing development for BHX.
People are not going stop travelling just because the UK is to leave the EU.while there is uncertainty passenger numbers at all airports may be up and down for a while, but things should sort themselves out eventually,as it is in both sides interest to get the right deals/agreements in place asap.

BHX BOD, the infrastructure struggles to cope with the current level of traffic, if the airport wants to expand then they really need to get their owners to spend some money. I don't know what the Ontario teachers will say about that!

Are you you putting two and two together and getting five - hopefully you are and BHX have not lost / were never in the running for an EZY base ?
