LBIA Oh so what you saying is that there was 4 booked passengers on today's first flight, but the plane may have had some freebies onboard for press reasons?
I've no idea who was on the passenger manifest or who paid for what. The fact is Timmys passenger figure is bollocks, and he's not come back to correct it.

DJ6's passenger number is correct

So who's telling lies. Me, or Timmy?

I've never accused anyone of lying jumpseater..

So I take it that DJ6's figure of 10 passengers on the first Links Air flight to Belfast from Donny is correct then? Good to finally settle that one!

At least your not denying TimmyW's quoted figure that only 4 passengers actually paid whilst the 6 remaining seats were filled by free loaders....

There's huge difference potentially between booked numbers, booked and paid numbers, free riders and stand-by numbers.

Used to best advantage, dependant upon your position or intention, those figures can look either stellar or dismal.

I'd wait a couple of months, if it lasts that long, before passing judgement.

Had to search for this thread as the last post was in April?
Do Peel still own Doncaster and is it still open?
Very little news coming out of the place?

Re the other forum link posted by Blackbeard, is that a Peel owned website?
If it is they will be no doubt looking at posters details.
Pprune is a far better independent site.

Erm.... Sheffield to Montego Bay? Makes me think of calypso style (Sheffield) Steel Drum bands!

It will be very interesting to see if it does happen.

There's a one off flight to Montego Bay in March, that's all.

Only growth is from Wizz, who have added rotations to services this summer and winter, plus the two new routes.

Not sure what the other poster is reffering to regards more growth, but can't see anything anytime soon.

Donnyman84, you refer to Timmy as young when your profile shows your age is a year below his. 30-31 ?

Has Whiitaker or one of his many Peel minions found their way onto this thread I wonder

Shame. DSA did used to have regular long haul flights with TOM at some point though didn't it? I know a few people who flew to Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic. Were there others?
