How would it be 319 on all PMI services? Tuesday out will be the based 320 and the later than usual LGW would surely be 319?

Saturday pmi is usually the LGW machine hence would it not be 320?

1 x 319 is totally committed to BHD LHR

Sat PMI is A320. Doesn't LGW base get upgraded to A320 for summer anyway? LGW-NOC for instance went over to A320 at the start of summer timetable.

Volotea 717 landing now to commence Verona services.

Edit: departed 12:47, 52 minutes late. Perhaps arriving at 11:25 and expecting to be away again in 30 minutes was a wee bit optimistic, Volotea?

Looking that Jet2 is closing BFS-ALC (2xw during the winter and 4xw during the summer) and easyJet is reducing from 3 to 2xw during next winter, is there any chance for Aer Lingus?

Unless Aer Lingus opt to have a 3rd based unit for winter ALC not going to happen . I'd also suggest they will not launch a new euro route in Winter. I'd be very hopeful for them adding another airbus for 2015, but they may just play it safe.

The last winter season on BFS ALC they did friday late and Monday late rotations on the route, these did well in terms of popularity , so much so the next winter easy followed a similar pattern .

Belfast City - Gatwick Stats ...

For reference here is the performance on the BHD LGW... Some may be interested!

Stats by year by month 2010/2011/2012/2013/2014
2010 2011. 2012. 2013. 2014
JAN 12599. 13985. 14843. 25044. 26240
FEB 15389. 15534. 16543. 28050. 28327
MAR 19297. 18147. 19534. 30545. 29621
APR 20391. 19881. 19881. 33101. 21243
MAY 17759. 21061. 21334. 33633
JUN 20799. 21689. 21723. 36821
JUL 22544. 24390. 24410. 42675
AUG 20836. 25997. 26684. 42376
SEP 19298. 22308. 22692. 34552
OCT 20106. 22643. 26340. 35581
NOV 19839. 21114. 36503. 32838
DEC 15429. 20648. 32016. 31248

The above show traffic stats on the route since January 2010.
Aer Lingus joined Flybe on the route at end of October 2012.
The numbers had been growing steadily within the date ranges.
Pre Aer Lingus the best April that BE had was 2010, at 20391. At that time BE were operating 5 rotations on 195, if I am not mistaken? If not it was 4.

This April Aer Lingus did 21243, so by all accounts with 3 daily this April all by 319, a very good performance. From tomorrow morning they change to 320. That will be a monthly capacity of (from June-monthly); 30960, at similar load factor as current of 81% that would see a monthly boarding of; just over 24000!

Would be a good result. I feel a 4th daily should be sharply in focus.

Impressive business traffic today; a couple of Gulfstream 650s and a Global Express.

Good to see that sort of metal visiting Belfast but by Jove those beasties must be expensive to run.

Remember the inbound sector, so if what you say is true its 2 x 5394, giving total capacity at 10788.

Overall good stats for the month.

Two comments
Can NCL, survive with such a small number of pax? Maybe someone can work out LF
Decline on FAO and AGp, is this due to Jet2 extra twice weekly flights?
Thanks BFS BHD for the stats

Flybe capacity constrained load factor not bad prob about 60pc. Depends on what fares they secured for their 2069 passengers.

Dont kno about Malaga faro.

Shortly?
Surely it's far to early to be launching summer 2015, we haven't even got into the full swing of s14 yet

Can't exactly see KLM doing that for the simple reason it would give EZY ample opportunity to replicate the schedules to squeeze them out..

Have to agree. Jack1985 EZY will do double daily on Mon Fri and Sun and squeeze the market. Same as when BMI baby tried.

I would assume that KLM would go after transfer traffic, with point to point being the icing on the cake. Whether or not the route would succeed though, I don't know.

Heading East, NI really only have LHR as a transfer hub, compared to many many other options open to most other UK airports of similar size of the combined BFS / BHD passenger numbers. Heading West the only other options is UA through EWR.

AMS would make a pleasant alternative to LHR.
