The PMI will dept BHD at 1450 and be back in 2125 with 40 mins turnaround at PMI, on Tue and Sat. I would imagine they will do nicely out of that, giving people the option of 3,4 or 7 night breaks in Majorca. Tue is A320, Sat A319.

I see manx2 are rebranding as citywing as they want to concentrate on routes outside of the isle of man. I wonder if this means they may start cork again from Belfast under a new name
Or is this simply all down to the report of the cork enquiry being released soon

Cork

Did Manx2 drop Cork simply because of the crash ?

I think pax numbers plummeted after the crash causing them to drop it

They'll still be using the same aircraft under the new brand. That in itself will be enough to turn people off ever flying with them.

Aer Lingus will now start AGP and FAO on 28 March and not 31 March as planned.

i see the timing on the 4th daily EI lgw service has been changed from last thing at night to the afternoon

EI
025
15001625 M T W T F S S31-Mar-201317-Oct-2013

EI 02817001825 M T W T F S S31-Mar-201317-Oct-2013

then the last EI flight arrives at BHD at 18.55 and thats it finished for the day. More use of aircraft during the day but its more idle at night.

full schedule found here

With a bit of tweaking its not saying a short sector couldn't squeezed in I.e. EDI or MAN maybe even . It's also worth noting with a base at LGW a later flight could be added in.

The later flight had been originally added in from LGW arriving at 20.00 departing BHD again at 2050 but this seems to have been changed

Global Jet Order

Great news for Bombardier today with Global Jet Order. They seemed to have overtaken Gulfstream in the upper size corporate market.

Combined with the new 700k sq ft C series building this is very encouraging for NI Aviation

Perhaps Stormont should work with the company toward re-establishing a final assembly line in Belfast for the Global Series and bring some hi tec and hi pay jobs to the City.
Would fit in perfectly with the scheduled operations during the quieter periods

It is a bit quite on this thread ! I would hope that EI are doing great but it still seems like BE are still fighting for the LGW market.

Belfast City Airport - FLYBE ANNOUNCES EXTENSIVE 2013 SUMMER SCHEDULE

I know it's quite an old report but they seem to highlight their London flights s lot.

Also, are BE operating Newquay this summer ?
