Yeah but think about it logically panpan you either go for volume or margin, BHD carriers are margin driven currently on LON, LCY is niche and LHR is not really a low cost airport but BA in particular want to feed into it. I agree LGW is a sad loss but who's going to take on FR or EZY, save for the likes of Norwegian and then have themselves a hornets nest experience with FR - its not really an attractive prospect. I think for the foreseeable future BHD's LON customers will be upscale business and connections.

Just been checking the Flybe site.
Lpl seems to be reduced to one flight a day from the start on the winter timetable, with no flights on Tuesday/wednesday.
Ema has no flights on Sunday/Monday.
Is this the way it is going to be or are further changes coming?

EMA will be because those forward thinking MAG group people have decided that the airport will be shut from Sat night to Mon night for runway work from Nov to Mid-Dec...not Flybe's fault
TB. It's well documented that LPL is for the chop. It's also well documented that EMA's runway is closing late Saturday to late Monday to facilitate runway works.
Do you read these forums?

Now, now TB. I was merely asking. It took me about 15 seconds to answer your question. I know reading is taxing, but all you had to do was look at the Flybe thread and it would have saved you asking the question in the first place.

So much for the 'professionals' here telling us that post-21:30 movements were only for based aircraft... E170 G-FBJC arrived from Manchester last night at 22:25 and departed at 23:00. Why was that not diverted to International? What penalties will be applied to FlyBE and the airport? We all know the answers.

Yes outrageous
Incase it did not show up on Fluffy radar 26 that was something else blast in off after 2130.
But forget about that Easy jet at 0100 dropping the spead brake and flaps creating a thunderous roar. We can't keep our windows open down here in NIMBY land.

Those nasty late night jets have no choice but to deploy speed brakes because whoever wrote the 'noise abatement' for BFS knew little about aircraft performance. The only way to get rid of the height when forced to comply with the speed restrictions is to deploy the noise generators. Oh the irony!

Aer Lingus
I know this question was asked at the beginning of the month but now it's fast approaching October. Does anyone know if and when Aer lingus might release summer 2017 Alicante etc?

I would not guarantee that the flights next summer will be on EI metal tbh. Certainly IAG group but not guaranteed EI aircraft my well informed sources within are telling me.
