Gosh if every airport that FR left for another were to sue FR would be out of business. Harsh commercial reality, just like the customer the airline has choices of where to do business.

likely both parties have been writing back and forward up to know so to get a final solution it goes to court.
Likely will be eventually settled out of court because BOTH will not want to have dirty laundry aired in public.
I would generally ignore the maximum figure as that is there for effect and a negotiating position.
Only people to benefit are lawyers.
