G-OOBR started life as a new fresh from boeing delivery to Britannia Airways in 1994, then moved to TUIfly Nordic as SE-RFP before moving back to the uk in 2011 with the new registration.

I don't normally ask but does anyone know what will operate MAN-INN this winter 738 I presume? I'd love the chance to grab a 757 flight before they all but disappear from Europe. I've been on the 753 but never the 752.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour (apparently carried by the Daily Mail, so there may well be no truth in it) that Thomson are starting flights LGW-CPT using the 787. A friend of mine insisted that he saw an article stating this.
I can find nothing on their website to support any evidence of flights to South Africa and gave up holding on the phone after 15 minutes.
CPT LGW would be great for me and I'm not unhappy about travelling on the 787 despite all the negative publicity.

This from Thomson:
"Of all the rumours I hear I actually hope this one is true as I'd love to visit South Africa. Unfortunately we do not know what will be on sale next year until nearer launch date which is towards the end of April."
Sorry it's not better news as I would love to take that one.

Thanks Tigger4Me
In the end I spoke to someone, who was very helpful, went and checked around, got back to me and said as far as she and those she'd checked with no service to CPT. Later in the day my friend rang me and said it wasn't CPT, it was Phuket! ..... and he insists he's not going senile.
