But what is the difference to the punter? choose you own seat? anything else?
Better seat pitch on Ryanair. Thomson 757's are horrendous. Ryanir 738 at least give you semi reasonable leg room.

The grapevine however is rumouring some improvements for next season as the customer ratings have dropped to an all time low this year. Personally i think they wont go back on their meals decision as a contract is in force with LSG to supply the for sale items, its more likely to be IFE, and of course the b757 refurb this winter.

I love the 757s, I flew on a new G-OOOA to Kos in 1987. I loved the service on board and the locally to me made RR engines.
But the last time I flew on an ex First Choice 757, with the old green seats, I got cramp even before take off! I wish Thomson would take a row of seats out or put the new blue seats in.

I assume the refurbishment relates to the reduction in seats on the 757 as mentioned earlier in the thread?
I flew on a 1994 build and 2003/4 build last year and there was a difference but the 1994 one has since left the fleet. The later build was immaculate other than the seat-pitch and the service was great. Food was okay, flights on time but certainly more expensive than our usual DIY holiday but certainly acceptable.

Probably more appropriate under Thomson Airways in AA and R

Thomson assessments
Guys,
Don't use this site very often so excuse me if I've wandered into the incorrect thread, but I'm trying to find out any information on the Thomson Pilot Assessments that are going on this November? I have one on the 10th, but they've not yet given any information on what the assessment will involve. Obviously I'm expecting the usual stuff, but I wondered if anyone had some inside news as to what the format is?
Many thanks for your help,
Jack
