Its not for Thomson to sell G-OOOX to anyone, since the aircraft is leased it will purely be returned to the lessor for them to either lease on to another airline or sell as appropriate

Also how long before departure is your seats selected?
Many thanks.

nsherrin15,
Thomson Airways use a computer model that allocates seating 24 hours prior to departure taking in to account those that have selected their seats, pre-booked seating together and any special requirements. Remaining passengers are allocated seats using a best fit model.

Only seems to be a schedule for 2 aircraft there, except for the extra GLA flights during July. Guessing there will be more B787 flights to come?
From 'Travel Daily':
Thomson Airways has announced its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be named Living the Dream. The name has a suggestion by Nicola Thomson from Glasgow who submitted her entry through Twitter along with nearly 2,000 others. She had dedicated the entry to the British celebrations this year and her personal triumph over neuro surgery and will now fly on the plane when it launches next year. We were overwhelmed by the response from the public to #nameourplane when judging the entries. However, we were moved by Nicolas inspiring story which meant that Living the Dream really stood out, said Chris Browne, managing director of Thomson Airways.

It's two aircraft. The additional July Glasgow flights are done by diverting flights from other points during that peak time for Scottish travel, probably the East Midlands ones. That has been the normal method of summer operation for many years.

By the 1st of may there will be 4 787's flying but only 2 operating lh the other 2 are operating sh for summer '13 before moving onto lh in November. Routes are not being advertised as 78 as these are it may be required to operate these on a 76 to preserve the 78 experience
