Ryanair - 5
I dont see why people put the man down, after all he has done
to lower fares and bring low cost European travel to the people
on the street

Southwest, Jetblue, TUIfly, Air Berlin are also low cost but at least they treat their customers humanely!

I and many others have never had a problem with FR and I have never
been treated as cattle, only one delay of 40mins in over 70 flts, never lost a bag, never damaged a bag, never had a canx flt, never had any trouble
what so ever.
They must be doing somthing right or they would not be
carring so many passengers and buying so many (NEW) aircraft.
and opening up so many new routes.
I have also flown Air Berlin no problems.
I have also flown TUI Fly 16hr delay LPA no hotels available.
I have not flown JetBlue but they have had problems lately.

According to another rumour website the 10 new routes FR wish to operate from MLA are: Bristol, Doncaster/Sheffield, Glasgow-PIK, Madrid, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Treviso, Palermo, Stockholm and Oslo.
Just want to add whilst people are on topic that i've only flown four times with FR and thought they were excellent, crew were curtious and effecient and excellent help when we flew with a young child, the plane was clean and tidy even after 3 rotations already that day, and seats were fairly comfy really.
I think people forget just how little they pay to fly with FR and expect too much from them, you can't pay pittance and expect to get a BA style service.
They're usually cheaper than EZY aswell, last month I flew BRS-DUB-BRS it cost £15pp inc taxes and apd, and that was only booking about 1.5 months in advance, we also considered going to EDI with EZY at same time, they were £50pp inc taxes and apd!

EMA new routes
3 new German routes from EMA ? I would expect one of them, most likely HHN. Not sure about Venice, when EZY fly to it from EMA. ALC and PMI, im not sure about, both Baby and EZY fly to ALC from EMA. It would be nice to see Ryanair take on directely Baby and EZY.

PMI and ALC seems to be working very well from
STN and that is head to head with EZY and AB
and a number of charters,
athough AB have dropped ALC and also EZY did
opp STN-VCE but pulled it.

I don't judge an airline by delays. That can happen to any and all.

Have you not heard of Oasis and Flyglobespan ?
"Rooted in the culture of Hong Kong, the airline is committed to the pursuit of excellence and operates on biblical principles with a deep respect for all races, religions and creeds, treating all our customers, employees and business partners with care and respect".
Is this the company you are referring to? Where do you see the 'biblical respect' coming in to any venture run by Mr.O'Leary?
Flyglobespan? Do they have a 'world beating business class service - better than BA or VS' as O'Leary promises?
Funny, there's nothing about it on their website. Please explain!
Your right though, If anyone elso other than MOL was talking
about such a venture I would be the same as you, but what I dont
understand is how many people on here dont see that MOL/Ryanair
has grown faster than any other airline in the world, Becoming one of the world 3rd largest airlines (pax), carring more pax than BA, announcing
new route after new route, new base after new base, buying new
aircraft after new aircraft, the way i see it is if anyone can do this
and make it work it is MOL, But we still knock him.

Dont forget he is not saying Ryanair will fly longhaul, It will be a new
Airline all together, just the price will be lower than flag carriers.

So I say hype or no hype lets wait and see, but dont knock the
fella after his first announcement about his plans, Its just rude.

I can see you only joined this board in January, but by now you should have gathered from reading here that the people who work for him don't generally share your opinion. In fact most pilots, whether they work for him or not, would consider Mr.O'Leary to be a nasty piece of work who has damaged the industry and dragged our profession through the dirt.
Now thats what I call rude!

He said he receives complaints about virtually every airline - but only Ryanair consistently refuses to accept fault or admit they are wrong. With Ryanair the customer is always wrong - his words, not mine.

This is how it is for ME,
Ryanair can take me to most of Europe for less than a dayout in London,
I live 20 miles from Stansted, I have no complaint what so ever with
the service I have been given from Ryanair, I would advise anyone to
try them out, If you dont like it, dont use it.
I guess from your rants that you have had many a bad Time during
you extencive travels with Ryanair, I guess your unlucky.
You still cant tell me why Pax levels keep going up, new routes
keep being announced and major A/C orders keep coming,
If what you say is true there would be no Pax on any routes.
Once again, Ryanair are one of the fastest growing airlines in the world,
they have overtaken BA in terms of PAX numbers, so you cant tell me
that people hate Ryanair, after all they Keep coming back for more, people dont want to pay more money for a news paper, a mael or
anything else that so called flag carriers offer, they want cheap seats
to get them from A to B for the next to nothing its a simple as that.
And for your info im a F/O for a well known Airline and have been
for two years.

Looking for a gagging order - like your hero?
BTW, since your earlier posts your spelling seems to have seriously disimproved, while your blood pressure appears to be rapidly rising. I think you should lay off the vino for the evening.
Nighty Night.

Maxalt, your comments are possibly the stupidest I have ever heard. You slate others for basing their opinions of FR on personal experience ("who cares what YOU think".....etc), but how else are people to judge the carrier? If personal experience can have no place in this forum, we must instead focus only on statistical data for the airline- fewer bags lost, more on-time flights and faster growth than many other airlines.Either way, Ryanair is not the shockingly bad airline which you seem to paint...You are fighting a losing battle my friend! If people wanted BA service, then it would be BA which would have seen such growth in recent year, not Ryanair. MOL provides this level of service, because it is what the customer demands....MOL is not stupid- he will tailor service on the transatlantic flights to suit customer demand! I'm sure Maxalt, you will continue to jet business to New York, but for others such as myself, the prospect of lower priced flights to the States, for the sacrifice of a sandwich and an in-flight-blanket, is a damn good prospect!
I'm really impressed by the statistical fact that they lose fewer bags than anyone else. Of course, conveniently dismissed are two other facts, namely that they don't encourage pax to take hold baggage in the first place (so they consequently carry fewer bags), and even more poignant - they don't provide baggage interlining facilities (even when transiting on their own flights). This is where most bags effectively get "lost" on other carriers.

DONTTELLTHEPAX,
Thank you for sticking up for us.
Ryanair is the consumers airline. People love us as we fly from regionals/local airports to Europe. We don't get delayed, we don't lose bags, we don't operate cheap old aircraft, we don't slap on fuel surcharges, we do offer the lowest fares. We have changed peoples travel patterns. We have worried the traditional (rip off) carriers.
Airports and people in the aviation industry HATE Ryanair and this is because they see us making a fortune and demanding lower costs from suppliers.
Don't worry DONTTELLTHEPAX, the people will vote, with their bottoms!
