Yeah,... Not sure about the 'loads in the hold pool' thing - I mean, I'm sure you're correct but those 'loads' are what? - 250-500 hour F.O's? Where are the hold pools of D.E Capt's? Eastern simply doesn't pay enough to attract Capt's from anywhere else. Plus, my God, they've got to get the unbelievable crew disruption under control. They'll simply reduce, reduce, reduce work until the lines merge again - the lines being, 'work to do' vs 'absolute skeleton crew available to do said work'. There seems to be this really weird, blinkered refusal
to hire anybody......I wish Bristow would just pony up the wherewithal to take over completely.

Aircraft (Jetstream 41) landed with AFS already forming a welcoming party, taxied off runway and shut down. Pax evacuated down steps and herded away, later to be bussed to the terminal. AFS seen foaming starboard engine. All inbound flights delayed.

Eastern operating two flights from Shetland to Dublin with the same Saab, looks like Thursday's only, is this a regular thing to do with the BP contract they have? Seems to do ABZ-LSI-DUB-LSI-DUB-LSI then position back to Aberdeen

Why don't they notice?
From the CAA website:
'The UK Government requires that the CAA’s costs are met entirely from its charges on those whom it regulates. Unlike many other countries, there is no direct Government funding of the CAA’s work.'

BACF leased T3 S2000's
Notice on jethro's fleet listings that T3 S2000 G-CDKA is to be leased to BACF.
BA Cityflyer Fleet List
Does anyone know if the aircraft is replacing either G-CDEB or G-CERZ already leased to BACF or is this lease in addition to these aircraft. If in addition what route will the aircraft be used to operate

Has T3 decided to move away from operating ER3 and ER4 aircraft. The reason I ask is that 3 Embraer aircraft have left the fleet in just over a year.
ER4 - G-EMBP - Last operated for T3 mid May 2014. Now registered to Novo Air as S2-AGL
ER3 - G-CGMB - Was removed from service on 4th June 2015. Now under Nigerian registration
ER3 - G-CGMC - Was removed from service on 23rd May 2015. Now under Nigerian registration
Anyone know if the two remaining ER4's are here to stay or are they expected to leave the fleet in the near future? and are T3 planning to replace these aircraft and if so with what, Newer Embraer jets or S2000's?.

E170's are coming...
I hear on the grapevine that there are 2 E170's on their way, one from March and the other from June.
Anyone know what routes these are coming in for?
I also understand G-CISK has also been reserved for a 3rd ERJ145.
