Well this is the rumour we hear from the Base Captains' meeting.

1. I will believe it when I see it.
2. I am not sure what the law is, regarding provision of pensions circa October this year - so perhaps a pension counts as a pay rise?
3. If it does happen, things must be worse than we think, as an imminent staffing-level calamity would be one of the only reasons Messrs Huxford and Lake would consider giving us anything these days.

Would the wetlease arrangement allow them to expand slightly on existing services fairly immediately? Or perhaps a GCI-LCY route?

A GCI-LCY service would be an instant winner, especially if the first aircraft arrived into GCI before 0900.

No comfirmation other than LCY-IOM but if i were a betting man, i would say that they will wait and see how it goes with the IOM route and then extend it and bring in more S2000s in BA color scheme with more thinner routes

From what I have heard BACF have only got the wet lease in to keep the slots at prime time, not because they want to fly to the isle of man...

IOM-SOU

You guys are totally right that LCY is clearly a case of slot sitting.

My mention of SOU was seperate to this, is a route previously operated and looks like BE have given up on it permanently.
