Thanks Jimbo

According to my research,G-BRYJ is currently registered C-FEXZ. Does that help find it?

(Yes,I know what you're all thinking---ANORAK,but this detective work fascinates me!)

Are these DHC8-300s going to be used on a specific route/from a specific base?

Flybe Newquay to London

It's rumoured that Flybe are seeking to pick up some of the schedule being dropped by Ryanair out of Newquay.

I wonder which London airport they are likely to use.

What is the rational behind that then? WOW already fly three times daily to Gatwick and FR are only dropping a morning service to Stansted - and we all know it has nothing to do with airport charges possibly more to do with Winter looming.

I would of course love to see Flybe here but can't somehow see seven flights a day to Gatwick in the deep mid Winter!

Well flybe have to find some routes to put their all their new aircraft on, so 78-seat dash vs 50-seat dash with WOW sounds like good competition from their point of view.

Anyone know what wow's loads are like on this route?

Will prob be STN to pick up on the pax that FR have already built up. Might also tie in with their base at Norwich.

Bear in mind that KeyPub is a forum, and Gatwick is no more than a guess at which London airport it would be,although the same post says Flybe have applied for slots.

Southend's existing terminal can handle over 350000 pax per year, so Flybe don't have to wait for the new one to open if they
decided to use SEN

I believe that there are plans for flybe to operate an expanding route network from SEN beginning next year. An announcement
is expected before Christmas.

For info the SEN- JER schedule is always full and sometimes o/booked.

tilewood,

How can the flybe SEN-JER flights be overbooked when flybe have a policy against overbooking flights?
