Seamus CVT.
BHX are very keen to push for cargo, especially when the runway extension opens.
Not sure they could compete with EMA operation ,but Id never say never and with Cov just down the road perhaps the 767 could be based at BHX, save the pilots a jaunt to EMA

3rd tri-star just flew over coventry. Landing gear was down, not sure if it landed or was a touch and go. Nice aircraft shame most of them are being scrapped. Im sure there is one going to be spared for engine runs at bruntingthorpe.

The 757 was not from the same company as the 737-200 that is occasionally seen at Coventry but was from the same set up as a 737-400 that has passed through the airport.

Does anyone know when a final decision about the 'Gateway' project is going to be made?
The developer has a website all about it:
Gateway Park, Coventry | Roxhill
An important development for the city, as businesses don't want to use the (small) brownfield sites located in poorly skilled areas of the city. Most of these seen to be having houses thrown up on them.

The Gateway project is such a big complicated (Three boroughs involved?) development that there are bound to be delays. I would not expect to see much happening until the Toll Bar Junction works are completed.
Spent a pleasant afternoon in the Coventry Flying Club the other day, watching (and commenting on) every departure and arrival.
