We must be looking at different editions in my copy there is nothing about the airport in the business section although there is an article on an advantage west midlands programme to help companies in the midlands aerospace supply train. There is a separate article earlier in the paper about the chamber of commerce offering support to sell the airport as a going concern in which it says several parties have expresed interest in acquiring the airport - although there is a world of difference between expresing interest and going ahead with a purchase - but nothing about 6 potential investors.

The article was a reprint of one in the Birmingham Post. As said it was not the airport saying anything and it only mentioned several interested parties...Notably it didn't name any of them which usually means there are not any meaningful enquiries...

Possibly from the same source that had I think 18 interested airlines looking at coming into Coventry after Thomsonfly left.
What it probably means is that 6 people/companies have asked for details on the sale to have a look at the figures.
Upon viewing the figures should imagine that the response will be:
"For that reason I'm out"

Coventry Airport on Dragon's Den:
"We're going to go for a gap in the market, and get Richard Branson to launch his first space flights from the airport. Coventry Virgin Galactic Interstellar Airport." And to make some money, we're going to build a a replica of medieval Coventry as it was in 1919 that doubles as a shiny chrome shopping mall behind the fake facades.
[Before I get accused of being anti-Cov airport, I am not - I flew from there a few times, and thought it was a great, and handy local facility - however, the endless news reports of six million airlines wanting to move in, etc, etc have just made it a bit of joke!]
