If the links L0u0k0e has kindly provided then refer my comments and take on posting hours on page 6. Stop wasting time and putting your hours on this thread and allow it to be a discussion for those whose interest lies beyond "here are my hours, contact me...".

darkroomsource 23rd Jul 2011 22:27

actually the purpose of this thread is to put your hours on and nothing else...
That stops the thousands and thousands (over the past how many years) of threads that just have "I have X hours, I want a job"
If you're not interested in reading this, then read one of the other threads... (grin) Leave this as it is, with the occasional - GO HERE or THERE to get information, this is just for listing your hours...

Out of interest...has anyone actually got an e-mail/response/offer or will this thread run into hundreds?

darkroomsource 11th Oct 2011 16:11

Purpose of thread is two-fold
One: a list
two: to STOP people from posting individual threads of their qualifications
Prior to this list there were hundreds and thousands of "I have X and want a job, please send me your requirements" threads, this has put them all in one place.

brisdude 13th Oct 2011 15:13

Pretty sure I have said it before (with many others).

If your posting your hours on here;

- If an employer needs to trawl through pprune to find a pilot he is not worth working for.

- If you feel the need to employ your hours here to find work then you are lazy and lack social skills to find YOURSELF a job.

Ta.

I have said it before and I will say it again;

- IF an operator is hiring online, then he ain't worth working for.

- IF you post hours here hoping for a job then your will NOT get one.

OK?

STOP HOPING THAT THIS IS A THREAD FOR JOBS!!!!!!!!!!!:ugh:

pilot_adrenaline 24th Oct 2011 04:19

wilderness air

Hey guys friend of mine got an email back from Wilderness Air. Wilderness Air has stopped hiring for this season . . the email was sent from the training manager of Wilderness Air.

CharlieVictorSierra 24th Oct 2011 07:07

Brisdude I totally agree. :D:D

Come on guys...this is pointless! As a fresh comm this is MOST definately not the way to find a job!

Piloto2011 26th Oct 2011 17:51

Hi, Anyone experience with flying for one of the operators in Malawi?

Would very much appreciate any thoughts!

Many thanks in advance! :ok:

CaptZeloZelo 1st Nov 2011 01:56

Wilderness Air is done hiring for the season but what does that mean exactly?
The season being the next 3 months or season being getting filled up and ready for the upcoming BUSY season (ie. march-june)??
Any word on what's going on in DAR? Many operators looking for 206 and 208 drivers?

brisdude 1st Nov 2011 16:28

At least you have sense! I like to drop into this thread and give advice IF NEEDED but whatever happened to getting there with a log book and someone actually standing on their own two feet to find a job?

I never thought I'd be in my 20s and call myself a "dying breed".:uhoh:

Damnit.

brisdude 1st Nov 2011 17:44

And operators hire off PPruNe now?

Wow. A couple years ago you actually had to apply...
