Have you been called in for the psychomotor?
Did the psychometric on 25th February, Morning group. Still waiting for that call. I know of another friend in the same zone, same time, similar surname group M who is yet to be called.
However, since our applications are still flagged as active, there's still hope.
For these who got regret email, please confirm that your applications have been flagged as "inactive". That way, we can evaluate whether KQ's HR cleanup policy is effective.
And thanks in advance.

Nope, I have not been called. Interpolating by the way calls have been made, and now the 25th group is on their psychomotor tomorrow, to me all is but gone. Been scouring the web for alternatives, to me my KQ's AB Initio process has come to a halt. I got to rehabilitate myself from the emotional attachment. I do not want to keep the hopes alive.
For those still expectant, keep on hoping. You never know, perhaps there is a wildcard among the 4th group (just like the fastest loser in athletics).
I wish you all the best good people, I will be following the developments keenly. And Brainiarc, we're in the same professional field

Yeah, 25th in the Afternoon. surname N... and there were only 2 N's, the rest was the start of O's, so Alphabetical order in this case does not stand. But there is still that a straw am clutching and some Career Connect guy somewhere is readying himself or herself to cut it. Sad, but funny hehe

hey aspiring pilots
wow..congratulations to you guys for the far you have gone with the interviews..though not all might make it,I'm here to offer some encouragement to them that might fall along the way..though its going to affect you for some time, don't let it take over your mind as it did to me. just let it off quickly and remember life must go on..
to them who are wondering if you fail, when next you might be eligible for the interviews, well you will apply after one year, then the long wait for another year starts prior to the interviews, and so by the time you are called two years will be down..
mine has taken long to heal because each morning i clock in at work, all these dials in front of me, the computer online controls, ear muffs on and the engine sounds resembling those of jet engines around me make it feel as if I'm in that cock-pit and just feel really having failed..

It makes sense.
I'm an M. Literally, Mun,., D.
Is there any other N that has been called? I doubt so.
I know of a certain Mw, H. Still waiting. So yes, the alphabet here may be holding water. Keep your phone on, though.
If they call, take it. I'm still hopeful and expectant.

You indicated that you failed at the aptitudes. If I may ask, is your application at KQ Careers website still flagged as active? Or has it been flagged as "cancelled"? Please update me on this.

Aftermath
Edwin88, I happen to reside under an air route, from single engines, turbo props as well as the jets. I share with you on how it is depressing, thinking that I would have had the opportunity to be in that cockpit. However, my savings scheme starts now, I have to get those stripes on my shoulders.
Brainiarc, A classmate of mine did Psychometrics on 19th, and received a regret mail on 4th (Scheduled psychomotor day).
I have talked to several Pilots and they tell me one thing, until that regret mail comes into the mailbox, stay hopeful. For now, expect the worst but hope for the best

active applications
Hi guys.....
wanted to highlight on the issue of active applications. I have 3 active and one terminate application(s) on i-recruitment.Terminate application applied on 25-12-2009. terminated on 12-05-2010. applied for the next intake on 15-06-2010, never made it to apt test.. still active. next 25-11-2012 email invite got to spam on 13-02-2013.. never did aptitudes...still active. Of these, i managed to attend only one assessment, did my aptitudes on 6th feb... the last group. have never gotten a reply since. got a buddy going for psychomotor kesho. an email and few calls(not answered) still no reply.
Anyway if your application is still active, might remain so for quite some time. anybody know whether the previous ones might affect the current one??... orr just flopped at apts. had lots of confidence!!
Great team work going on here.. keep it uppp. And if you still in the process,, get ready to flyyy. All the best!

If that is the case with the guy who got his regret email the same day he was scheduled to sit for the Psychomotor, then, tomorrow will be our D-Day.
Its' tomorrow where you can be damn sure that you cut it or not.
So, litmus test: You get a regret email tomorrow, you're out.
If you don't, and were at the Psychometrics on 25th, you're still in.

@nickmory, thanks captain.
I pray that we make it today and that those calls will start coming next week. I am sure this time round, they don't have to fly anything to UK!
All the best fellow aviators.

Medicals
Aluta continua...I cant believe this. SA is calling...For those going for psychomotor, that trax thingy is key. My pals scored 8, 10, 10 the other 2, 6, 8 and me 6, 6, 8 and we all in. Forget about the price of hiring a joystick. GetOne! Practice with any sim fsx or delux and you will be good! All the best

Wauh- Google brought me to this forum. I can see that the guys we were with have moved to subsequent stages. am I out? Am I in? Its confusing when there is no regret. I can see some guys in the same circumstance here. Companies such as PWC and KPMG pride themselves on their recruitment process. If a person fails the interview at any stage, they get a regret. This is confusing.
