Thanks K48, it's GEMAA at RAF Cosford 21 October 07. One of the County Air Ambulance machines at the start of shift.

If I did not know any better then i would say that is a former colleague of mine flying down the prom in Blackpool. He is a bit famous for flying low level.

May be a wee bit of nitpicking.....but does not a "carrier" connote airplanes? It does seem a bit odd to see one third of the RN fleet in the air at one time.
