Thumbs up

Looks like Springer to me, good to see he is still buzzing around the skies; there’s something to be said for the Australian anti-ageism laws.
If you are reading this Stu: all the best for you and your family in 2008.
Greetings,

Peter - Thanks and always try to get something different from each shoot.

Nubian - That is the Superhind MKIII and its done by ATE Aerospace in Sth Africa. They have already sold some up into Algeria somewhere and are now working on the MK5 I think it is which will have composite blades and other major improvements.

Welcome back Ned
I see you've bin around a bit - again - from the four corners of the globe to the different spectrums of rotary.

Neville,

Thanks for the photos: any chance of a brief description with each shot, to give all of us an idea where/what/who?

Catseye sent me these photos of the Kangaroo Island fires, but I mucked up the links for him!

These others from the same fire came from Helo 1, who was working the same area:

This was Donald Trumps S76 waiting at the heliport while we were refuelling during a photo shoot.

This one blew me away, here we were flying around NYC and I saw this. If anyone knows anything would be cool to know.

Here you are:

The biplane on the roof sculpture was designed by some guy named Rudolph de Harak and executed by the sculptor William Tarr in 1969 (thanks Jack Ryan).
Apparently it's a full-size model of a WW1 Sopwith Camel, complete with runway. It was put there to amuse inhabitants of surrounding scyscrapers, notably the WTC.
