Global Jet Luxembourg

Anybody can give some references on Global Jet Luxembourg. Type of a/c, expansion plans, stability, web page if any.
Any info will be highly appreciated

Thanks!

Global Jet Luxembourg is , I believe, part of Global Jet Concept.

They do management and charter.

Fleet consists of:
(those in the know, please update!)
a Falcon 50, a 50EX, a 900C, a 900B, 2 GLEXs, a CL604, a BBJ and a 767-300ER.

Web page is:
www.globaljetconcept.com

I saw somewhere that the Chief Pilot's name is Michel (those in the know, please update!).

Good luck! (they are recruiting pilots...)

Thanks a lot. Let's see if there's any luck .;)

Aren't the BBJ & B763 operated for a certain Russian businessman who spends quite alot of time in London?

WNC

FLEXJET 19th Oct 2004 19:26

Yes of course!

Also, a Global Express is often used as well as a EC-155B helicopter.

Mark Lewis 19th Oct 2004 20:29

Is "Silver Arrows" the same thing as Global Jet Luxembourg, or "just" the private airline of a certain Russian gentlemen and/or his business?

FLEXJET 19th Oct 2004 20:47

Silver Arrows is the initial name of the company, set up in 1999.

Mark Lewis 19th Oct 2004 21:12

Cheers FLEXJET, that clears things up a little, although am I correct in thinking that the Silver Arrows name is still used sometimes?

josephshankes 19th Oct 2004 21:13

All their email addresses are blocked.

Looks like it's snail mail only for the applications.

I guess they are expecting a huge amount of applications. In fact so many, they may be afraid their email boxes will become clogged.

flexjet--also at least one G550 for a Russian client.

I ran into one of their guys this summer and actually saw Michel in the lobby but didn't get to talk to him.

The guy I talked to seemed pretty happy. Seems like a pretty stable and up front company.TC

FLEXJET 22nd Oct 2004 17:47

Yes, I forgot the G550 you mentioned already (I don't know details of this one).

Global Jet Concept fleet:

FA50 LXAKI
F900 LXCOS
LJ31 LXEAR
CL60 LXFAZ
FA50 LXFMR
F900 LXFTA
GLEX LXGEX
F900 LXGJL
FA50 LXIRE
C550 LXVAZ
GLEX LXVIP

The P4-GJC BBJ is "Tanzanite Investments", a separate branch.

AA717driver 22nd Oct 2004 18:14

Sorry flex, the G550 is a managed aircraft. I guess you were talking about GJC's owned aircraft.

It's N-registered as are a few jets operated by Russians.TC

Mark Lewis 23rd Oct 2004 15:00

Is LX-GJC the CRJ still with them?

FLEXJET 23rd Oct 2004 15:40

Mark, the CRJ SE is now P4-CRJ.
HCX Aviation AVV/Global Jet Luxembourg

Silver Arrows is still used:

By the way, any replies following Ppruners recent applications for the 900 and GLEX positions?

sixfeetabove 25th Oct 2004 16:44

I applied for the Falcon 900, Global 700 F/O position about one week ago, but did not get any answer yet. I have the Typerating for the Falcon 50/900 and some hundred hours on it. Might be advantageous. Did you also apply? What is your backround? How many do drivers do they need?

FLEXJET 25th Oct 2004 17:41

I am not typed but I applied, of course!
My backround is, well, not very impressive but I heard that GJC hired at least one low timer.

I don't think that the rating is really an advantage for GJC.

If you want to learn more about GJC:

Enjoy!

Requirements?

Hi,

This is only hear say, but it comes from the inside. Captains generally min. 6000Hrs approximately 5 years in the business. Typerating of course an advantage. Normally experience is between 6000-24000 Hrs.

First officers, must also have experience from the corporate side flying Falcon-2000 size or similar. Experience between 3000-6000 Hrs. mainly jet time. And of course typerating an ...

You have to be extremely focused on customer service and of course you must be flexible. Great people:ok:

FLEXJET 29th Oct 2004 13:50

I just called GJL and a lady there told me that they are waiting for 10 more days in order to let everyone interested a chance to apply.

They received so far a huge amount of applications but they will try to answer to each applicant.

Jet time preferred.
