I wonder whether this will be a trend after Car Park rebuilt but before current one is upgraded?

Government defeated in High Court over climate plans https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-68947242
Wonder whether the Secretary of State when he/she makes the final decision on Luton’s expansion will be thinking about today’s High Court ruling?
LRT are worried enough already and have been organising a petition while promoting misleading claims, which is a sign of their desperation. This after spending £71m on their application, money that could have been spent on public services.
The government has been defeated in court - for a second time - for not doing enough to meet its targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

So no Sky Sports then or access to fluffy pillows.

The inspector said that the airport now has the busiest detention centre in the country
Between June and November last year, the airport had 2,898 detainees, compared with Stansted with less than half, at 1,210.
Detainees said they were frustrated and upset at the poor conditions.

In a statement issued to the BBC, Alder Hey hospital said following advice from Merseyside Fire and Rescue it had "temporarily restricted the parking of electric vehicles in one of our smaller car parks while we upgrade its fire sprinkler system." "Electric vehicles are still able to park in our main Hospital car park", it continued, pointing out it also had 14 spaces with EV charging points.

Not sure where they are getting the advice from? Pretty much every survey carried out has diesel/petrol cars many times more likely to go up in flames than EVs. There's an increased danger once the fire has started in an EV but petrol/diesels are far more likely to combust in the first place.

At Luton, out of the 2 multi stories, the one that didn’t catch fire is the one with the EV chargers. The problem was that while the fire started in an alleged diesel vehicle there were enough EV cars parked up to condemn the whole car park, as the fires could not be put out.

Take an EV car to the garage for a service, see the exclusion zone around the ramp. A typical service garage can get 4 ramps in whereas for an EV car it's one. It's like storing a firework. On it's own it's fine, not likely to suddenly ignite but if fire occurs around it and takes hold, run for your life!

I would assume lack of slots at LHR whereas LTN has availability outside early morning & late evening times.
Perhaps they could get Egyptair Cargo back as well which did a short series of flights before finding some slots at LHR.
I suspect Cargo is getting pushed out again at LHR.

So its Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on 1 June at Wembley plus Leinster v Toulouse rugby final the previous week at Tottenham Hotspurs ground. Some rather busy airports in the Home Counties I would imagine.
