Good news about HRG.
Let's hope it gets off the ground this time round.
Sure they added this a few summers ago but then got pulled with the trouble in the area.
Looks like we will have at least 1 new route for summer 2015 hopefully!!
Summer 2015 should go on sale next Thursday I think

Will it be 3rd time lucky for Jet2's 8 aircraft base in 2015??? And I might be being a bit hopeful here but it seems things are picking up so maybe... Just maybe either Easyjet, Thomson or Thomas Cook might do something.
Wasn't it airports like Newcastle and Bristol that TOM said they could fly direct to Hawaii, Indonesia and Brazil from on the 787's
Will TCX have 1 A321 over the winter too instead if 757?
And good news for EK, 20,000 per month by December?

According to the Financial Times, net debt before the AMP takeover was £298m.
After the deal and re-financing the debt was £178m.
Last profit figure I've seen was 2011-12 which was an operating profit of £18.7m

That's the operating company - the holding company (NIAL Finance Ltd) has rather a different picture.

operating loss of -£20.66m.
But they are owned by NIAL Holdings Ltd with an op profit of £4.6m, and net assets of £250m
Overall, the airport is in a far better position than it was financially with the highly leveraged borrowings put in place by the previous management, and which goes to support the strategy of steady-away development that the current team has followed, even though several on here have complained about this low growth strategy/lack of new routes, and bla, bla.

With the 2 x Jet2 757s being replaced by 1 x 733 and 2 x 738, we should be seeing some new routes, more city breaks perhaps?
Oh, and that will mean the end of the 757 at NCL

Jet2 starting to release S15 flights. FUE will, for example, be operated on thursday afternoons, starting from the middle of May, using 737-800s. Madeira starting at the end of March. Pula starting a lot earlier also.
