Italian Maturita??

Hi Folks,

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but can anyone clarify what level of Education in the UK is equivalent to the Italian Maturita??

Thanks in advance

The italian Maturità is the high school, the Diploma that permits to go to the University.

I received my results after 3 workingdays...

Thank you for your response, but it doesn't clarify my question. In Scotland, you do SCE Standard Grades and have the option to stay on at School after these to do "Highers" You also have the option to leave after the standard grades to go straight to College (or work) You can do HNC, HND which leads onto the University degree.

Can anyone please clarify at what qualification equates to the Maturita?

Many thanks

All high school diplomas in Italy permits you to go to the university. The maturità means only that you attended a certain kind of school "Liceo" but all schhol leaving qualifications in italy have the same value.
so basically just send them your high school leaving qualification you have.
bye

Marghe83, thank you for the reply. I already did this and they sent them back saying they did not meet the requirements. :{ I sent them my High School Leaving certificate, along with a HNC certificate which is basically the first part of a university Degree. I am not really sure that they understand the system here, as an HNC is a higher qualification than you can get at High School here. :ugh:

I think they misunderstand your qualification. Give them a call. For sure you can solve the problem, they are calling everyone that meets their very basic requirements.
:ok:

Cheers Eurocargo,

I have emailed the person on the letter that was sent to me and explained it, so hopefully i will get some good news in the reply.

ATPL in dLR

Good afternoon,

Can anyone explain a little bit about the atpl questions in the DLR?

Easy? not much? Do you have to study? general knowledge or specific questions?

Ah another thing, someone from Barcelona this november 22nd to the DLR?

Thank you so much,

dirk85 16th November 2010 14:59

Done the DLR the 12th of November, passed. :ok:

These are my results before the test:

KRN: anything between 60/80%
OWT: 85/95%
RMS: 4,5 digits average
ROT: 90/100%
SKT: 85/95%
VLR: 90/95%
VMC: 70%

Not so great results I would say if compared with some I have seen here.

Did not practice for the last month before the test due to personal problems, went there very relaxed, with not much optimism to be honest.
Just try to stay concentrated, and dont take it with too much stress.

NAVEX320 16th November 2010 16:51

Congratulations dirk85 !

Do you know how many passed for this session ?

Does your message mean that you didn't undergo RAG and TVT tests ?
Do you confirm there is no interview during this first day ?

I wish you the best for the next step...

Cheerio, have a good day

Guernott 16th November 2010 19:51

Hello!!

Well done!! Have you got the date of your sim screening?!
Does anyone take the sim screening or the interview?!
Thanks.

dirk85 16th November 2010 22:55

Negative, no date for the sim, still have to send all the documentation.

Good luck everyone!

C212-100 16th November 2010 23:27

Assessment date

Just received my invitation for the DLR. It will be on February, 25th. Anyone else with that date?

Cheers.

maarlev 17th November 2010 12:58

Hi guys, took the assesment last friday and passed aswell. I don't have a clue how many passed, but as you see at least two. The ATPL questions on this forum and the Italian one pretty much cover the test. will get back with a sim date when received. good luck to you all!
CBT test scores before test:
KRN: 96
ENS: 91
OWT: 94
SKT: 97
ROT: 97
VLR: 100
RMS: 36
VMC: 73

Anyone around who did the sim screening already? do you get all information about the flight up front? any surprises during the sessions? thnx.
