I see someone has updated the pay figures for cadets and FOs. I’m thinking they got it wrong unless Ryanair have cut the pay for FOs?

In UK its £39k basic for SO, up to 500 hours on type and £5 per SBH plus the allowance as per base agreement (prob £5,500 per year in most uk bases) and the paid A/L days. No productivity bonus on these new contracts. Basic goes to £55k and £10 per SBH after 500 on type.

lots of disgruntled fo’s at the moment that are not being paid what they were promised...it does feel like they are trying to chip away again at pay, drive it back to the old £20k basic....

What I have heard is more in line with what 737aviator posted.

Looks like recruitment could dry up very soon...

... and they are trying to rename the aircraft to trick/gamble/retain the passengers from "737 MAX" to "737-8200":

Hi Guys and Girls jumping into this thread. I can see a lot of different info being banded about but just to update everyone on recruitment.

1 - Cadets - Hiring 650+ over the next 12 months
2 - Non - Type Rated FO's - No hiring indefinitely
3 - Non - Type Rated Captains - No hiring indefinitely
4 - Rated FOs - some hiring
5 - Rated Captains - will be reviewed early 2020

Our sister airline, Lauda Motion are currently recruiting rated and non-type rated captains for Vienna and Palma base for 2020 and a new base TBC - email [email protected] with ''Pilot Application'' in the subject bar to be considered.

Thanks

Hi Ryanairrecruitment,

I guess after the announcement done by O'Leary regarding the delay of the MAX and Brexit, these figures about the recruitment of cadets are no longer current, are they? I was very sad to hear that since I'm literally just waiting to receive my CPL in order to apply to Ryanair. Any info about future recruitment for cadets will be appreciated!

Is it really all doom and gloom at RYR? Upgrade at our airline is delayed and or cancelled and a few colleagues have joined RYR and seem to say it's ok. They got upgraded quickly and say the money isn't bad, I don't this it's the 11K EUR we are getting now, but the headline figures I saw seemed pretty alright for CPs.

Is the salary the same all over europe?

I only see positions for ryanair sun at the moment.

Cheers

They say the money isn't bad? So why did RYR pilots vote for strike action?

Because money is not the only thing that matters.

I know, but it's one of them.
