So what does it really mean for "line flying" (no tie in the interview)?
You have to wear the tie (ugly black one) to your uniform!
Only people in hangar 89 are free to resist wearing a tie!
Orange culture is not existing anymore.
It is nowadays just an airline, still making profit and providing a fairly secure job.

And that is not bad at all!

Tie

Leave your tie at home and come in "business casual". Make sure your shoes are clean and shiny and your hair cut is up to date. Be yourself and enjoy the days at Luton. They are a great bunch of people there and always open for a good laugh. Be authentic and not too artificially "orange". As I said, be yourself. Either you fit or not.

All the best

FI
Would you rather suggest a "casual" dress code like they suggest on the letter of invitation to the interview or really a "business casual"?
There's quite some difference (jacket,shoes,etc)

Thanks
Bubair

At this time the best dress code is a swimsuit....:{my first birthday in few months....:ugh:

BUBAIR

try to find a picture of Andy H. or his management. Look at their "dress code".
That is the way to go. :)

Taiguin 27th Jun 2008 17:11

Anybody any idea how the deep the hold pool is at the moment?

Anyone heard of any movement within it either (recent courses etc)?

Kraut 27th Jun 2008 21:05

I could imagine, that there will be some movement of pilots, if management continues to attack (or management phrase: we have to react to the market movements and conditions to be competitive!) our T&Cs. And they will!:E
All under the Headline: a better place to work, we care for our people!:D

Holding pool news

I am a very new entry in the holding pool (May) and I have been told by the recruitment to expect a call for MXP btw late October and late December...
If someone knows better please share it with us.
Thanks

green-dot-speed 30th Jun 2008 00:52

who better than recruitment team, if they told you so??
cheers mate

The Flying Cokeman 30th Jun 2008 16:15

It all depends! I woiuld imagine some from DTm will go to MXP if & when the base closes. So wouldn't be surprised in more delays are coming

Husky One 30th Jun 2008 17:47

I'm with Kraut on this one. There will probably be some movement in the hold pool this winter but more to do with nulling the exodus than for any expansion requirements. Might even see a few Boeing spaces in the UK. Most of the FO talk on the 73 is of when they're going, not if.

green-dot-speed 30th Jun 2008 17:50

How many pilots do you think they have in the Holding Pool at the moment? any ideas? As far as I know they are running assessments regularly from a month or so...
Thanks guys!

I am asking:what is so bad in EZY to justify ti "exodus"?

Thanks

Stone Cold II 30th Jun 2008 19:21

I don't know, don't think it's EZY all of a suddan, people were happy not so long ago, think it's the feeling about the economy.

It would take a brave man to leave EZY at the moment with so many doubts about the airline industry.

Think in the current climate EZY is one of the safer seats to be sat in regarding job security at the moment.

I have been here over 3 years and I am still happy, I think it's a lot better now to when I joined the company. It's not perfect no company is and there are far worse places to be.
