It is currently a point of contention. Colleagues on the A320 at LHR are having successful bids to long haul and getting released early, whilst more senior colleagues at Euroflier are being denied due to manpower issues at LGW. Releases are purely at the discretion of BA. Some at Euroflier are calculating what they are losing out in terms of lower basic/pension contributions by being at LGW and getting denied. Others would argue they should be grateful to even be on the MSL as it wasn't the original plan and if they had the experience they wouldn't be there ... you will hear it all
