How familiar are you with their set up? Have you read anything about it? I have. Looks to be one of the healthier operators out there right now. There's a hell of a lot of cash behind it.

Then don't. If a uniform (which has been changed) deters you from employment, maybe try a 9-5. I have a few friends working in there and all enjoy it. Flying part time on a full time contract. Sounds nice to me. I'm still waiting on a phone call from the people who'll hopefully start paying me again. Furlough payment doesn't pay the mortgage, so yes I'd wear high heels right now if it meant a decent pay cheque. My principles won't feed the kids.

Afraid not. Although, I did spend some time up there when it was purple. Left about 4 months before the end. The weather wasn't for me. Sunny Kent is where it's all at now.

So what’s the excuse for the cheap ‘clown’ uniforms then? Seems they don’t want to attract, nurture, nor promote professional piloting in this airline - they almost want to ‘belittle’ their flightcrew by making them appear as unprofessional as possible in this bonkers outfit. Not to mention, a total turn-off if you were a youngster considering a career in aviation as a pilot...

Flew with Play last Thursday, first time, was cheap and good. Pushback 10 mins before scheduled departure, airborne 3 mins before same and arrival at gate 25 mins before schedule. Good legroom and friendly and seemingly professional cabin crew. Have no financial or other interests in the outfit in case this sounds like an ad... Might all go horribly wrong next time.
