Hi, UK-based FO position at London Heathrow, Your Roster will look like 5/4 over the winter so expect to start at LHR and either operate to Scanianiva or position there and then start work, The roster changes for the summer months so expect a 5/4-5/3.

The 5 days away will be just that unless you have a standby in that block which could mean you will be at LHR for some of those days, which is not unusual, whilst you are away the overnight allowance kicks in at £52.53. Expect to fly 85-90 hours that month, especially over the summer months, winter slightly less but expect 3-4 sector days, with winter ops.......You can look up the schedules on the SAS website but expect European City pairs for the winter and Southern Europe for the Summer.

If you live near Heathrow it's a good option, if you live further afield which we have many that do it is still an option but with some standby cover required at Heathrow expect to stay in the Premier Inn on the Bath Road.

Hope that helps.
