Question FlyPlay

Hello,

I am interested in Play Airline since I apply recently.
Does anyone know about what kind of assessment they run to recruit pilots?

Thanks so much for any tips and help!

There's something I longed to ask, hope you don't mind F. Cg.

How many salaries have you received since say, FEB2020? Not the amount, just count the payslips, you know.

FWIW, this airline's tech crew uniforms are pretty boring standard.

The recent contractor thread has been shut down mostly because there was no polite way of explaining how severely detached from the real deal outside HKG the presented views were.

Now a man asks a simple if somewhat naïve question. What triggered such unleash of professional courtesy this time?

My humble opinion is that the industry is being dragged down by cowboy airlines and the clowns who are happy to fly for them. In the case of 'Play', literally.... Clowns flying the airplanes. We've all seen the pictures of them in uniform. This circus behaviour is to the detriment of everyone else, and professional standards across the board. It makes us ALL look bad.

If you haven't had a pay check as a pilot since Feb 2020, take the message, and then for the love of god, go and find something else to do outside aviation.

Surely, we're not all that useless that we can't find something more interesting and rewarding to do for a living. Or is it just the ego factor? "I want to be a pilot above all else, to make me feel better, and impress my friends"? Because that's what it sounds like to me.

I would never lower myself to this. And if I was starting out, or thinking about starting out, in this industry, I would take one look, and run a mile.

That's called integrity. Deal with it.

. a 60k HGV driver?

Hi,
Does anyone have any new information on the interview/the sim assessment?

We already know people's opinions on the airline, their purported uniform, and terms - but any answers to the above would be appreciated.

Any news regarding assessments?

Just got an email. What a joke by these clowns?

Dear Candidate,

In regards to your application for the position of pilot at PLAY. We received well over 3000 applications and with only a handful of available positions, unfortunately we are not able to offer you a position this time around.

Nevertheless, we hope to open up for applications again later for positions we hope to have available for spring 2023. We would love to see your application there again.

Until then, we wish you all the best and thank you for the interest you showed us with your application.

Best regards,

The HR team and Pilot Office

Interesting reaction to a rejection. Same clowns you were willing to work for, dressed as one of them. Good for you they didn’t let you lose more time in their selection process.

btw, I got the same email answer.

Sorry, the show is over and the circus is closed. Come back again in 2023.
