Worried
I too was pleased to receive the email inviting me to assessment.
However, I logged in there were no dates to choose from. Infact, there has never been any dates to choose from. I have been logging in several times per day since I received the email.
Now, instead of being able to log on, I receive a message telling me
"The period of time allowed to access and fill out this questionnaire has expired"
I have been trying to contact someone at the assessment end as I am really worried that everyone else seems to have dates and I don't. So far with no success. If anyone has a phone number for them, could you pm me please?

Hurry Curry, I am in the same boat. However I suspect it is an IT glitch at the moment. I too have been constantly checking to no avail and shall bounce them off an email in due course.
Don't panic until they tell you it's time!

I too struggled to get an assessment date when invited.
After checking several times a day for weeks I've emailed the standard EasyJet email and received a response which is both disappointing and frustrating.
They currently have no assessment dates available and aren't planning anymore any time soon.
They've assured me THEY will get in touch with ME when dates become available. They will keep my application on file for 12 months.
Why oh why would you invite someone to assessment only to not be able to provide them with one?
This is a PFO in my book. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I'm "reliably" informed that invites for the sim take after the assessment and are scheduled approx. 2 - 3 weeks later. Sessions take place in Southampton on a 737. Although easy have no 737's its not an assessment of how well you can fly an Airbus just your general flying ability, CRM etc.
Don't take this as gospel but source is normally accurate.
Any feedback on assessment days would be appreciated.

SIM ride
According to Bus Driver, who was writing on the Easyjet salary for first officers tread, he attended the SIM ride a couple of days after the assessment centre in Burgess Hill on A320.....

9000hrs, some of them on A320
Right now flying ATR in Asia, sometimes "singlehand..."
Would love to go back to Europe.
If i hear that easy assesment trash i stay a while in Asia.
Have done assesments in England some years ago, there is no need for me to do that overdrawn style of assesment again.

An honest question - why do you think you should be exempt from assessment compared to everyone else? You are obviously experienced - but that's only part of it. I've met many "experienced" pilots over the years and some of them were stunningly bad.....that's why everyone needs to be assessed...to weed out the great pretenders.
Additionally when you get over 3,000 (!) applicants for your advertised positions you can be picky and set as many hoops as you like - if you don't want to jump through the hoops that's fine......but that will prevent you from possibly being in the LHS of an Airbus in a few years with one of the most successful airlines on earth.
There is no malice or sarcasm in my post - just genuine questions.

It will appear you will be flying in Asia for some time if you are unwilling to invest a bit of effort in realising your wish to return to Europe.
As a general comment why do some people expect to have an unfair advantage over others by expecting leaked information from the interview and assessment process? Why would someone, having just gone through it, then tell everyone else? In addition, would you accept at face value information posted on a website by a stranger?
There is a wealth of information available on this site and others detailing what goes on at the assessment days over the years. The basic process and what is looked for is unchanged for 12+ years.
