With due respect, with that attitude, I think you'll remain in your ATR in Asia for sometime - which is fine if you're happy.
An honest question - why do you think you should be exempt from assessment compared to everyone else? You are obviously experienced - but that's only part of it. I've met many "experienced" pilots over the years and
some of them were
stunningly bad.....that's why everyone needs to be assessed...to weed out the great pretenders.
Additionally when you get over 3,000 (!) applicants for your advertised positions you can be picky and set as many hoops as you like - if you don't want to jump through the hoops that's fine......but that will prevent you from possibly being in the LHS of an Airbus in a few years with one of the most successful airlines on earth.
