Anyone know if many of the redundant pilots from 2010 have applied and been invited for interview?

Didn't go in the end - decided it wasn't for me and as it happened got the job offer that I really wanted the very next day.

i guess everyone who got invited was in the dark concerning what was to be offered for the assessment day.

I guess this is fair and everyone can be assessed fairly..

There isnt much info in here either,,, maybe the lucky few had a gagging order?

Anyone else heard anything?

I'm guessing an email will be the bad news and a phone call the good news?

Maybe they'll do a BA and cancel all recruitment at the last minute.

Here is hoping not and that you all get good news.

I got the 'yes' email last week and have my start date and base. I know of others that also have and some that have had a 'no'.

Good Luck!

A few of us still waiting to hear as I understand it. Anyone from TOM able to give us a reason why they've split things up so much? Tomorrow will be a week since the first contracts came out, haven't heard of any rejections for a while, but still a bunch of us waiting. As above - nerve-racking!

No idea!! My guess is that they are finalising numbers, the powers that be have a mega amount going on this Winter... we've got literally hundreds moving fleet, lots moving base, command courses, new recruits, 787's, new 737's, retiring the Scarybus and a few 75s and a couple of 76s.

And amongst all that, someones gotta get the pilot numbers right!! I don't envy them, I just fly em!!

Im sure it won't be long, becha its Friday!! Thats our standard news day.

Fingers crossed.

I believe they were looking for 25-30 initially out of 60 guys for selection.

I just hope and pray that they havnt come to realise that they actually need far less that expected
