Perhaps they are after pilots with NG time, the above PFO's seem to be aimed at guys without, but I may be very wrong!
Scratch that, just looked back through the thread and found a few NG gus with PFO's, I should learn to read!

Has anyone received an invite yet? The PFOs that have been received so far, when did people apply? Are they working through in date order? Sorry to those that have got them, and good luck to those waiting.

About 785 down form 1100 odd at time of merger. Thomson had 750 pre merger. As we have pretty much absorbed an airline the size of First Choice we are now ready for expansion.
The tour operator is expanding quite a lot. As an airline though we are not expanding as much. Plan is for Thomson airways to provide around 75% of TUI Travel lift.

So Bluebaron.....Thomson "absorbed" an airline the size of First Choice? Interesting turn of phrase.
Forgive me for asking but I was convinced it was a "merger" ? ..........def:
"a statutory combination of two or more corporations by the transfer of the properties to one surviving corporation."
Good luck to all those have an interview or more. It's a good place to work, given the current financial climate. IMHO.

Rip Roar,
The point I was making is that Thomson has around 30 pilots more since the merger. Therefore by definition an airline the size of first choice has disappeared.
Someone asked a perfectly reasonable question regarding the airline size and I wont been drawn into a discussion regarding mergers etc......

1st 2nd officer
Does any one know what Thomson class as a 1st officer as opposed to a 2nd officer as they appear to be recruiting both and I have no idea how they classify these roles?
