That is approx correct . . . . what don't you understand ? or you think that is enough to be Capt of a widebody ? as I posted "wholly underwhelming", hence why I have no doubt on the "voting with feet" claim made by 777X.

Hey Mint

How old are you?
Looks like many years have passed and you've not doing your homework...
Do you really think that someone would share with you for free the "secret things" about an interview for a job (most of them potentially competing with you for the same job...)?
Even my 10 yo daughter don't think anybody would do that.
So stop blaming PP and be serious mate.
Even in case of somebody, as a matter of being the nice guy, share the tricks, any assessment process can be changed in a blink. And it happens.

As for the homework a quick glance on something called google bring us this:

Norwegian Pilot Interview and Assessment-Latest Pilot Jobs-Latest Pilot Jobs

I have no idea if it worth the money invested or is just a waste of time.
But it's a starting point.
Now stop crying and move on.

I'm reading this site for a while now. I've hardly seen a more arrogant contribution. If the spirit of hospitality among pilots swings in your direction it's time to retire.

Wake up, smell the coffee!
" spirit of hospitality" among pilots? Seriously?
A group that has been self prostituing for the latest decade, accepting lower and lower conditions, things like pay-to-fly and other outrageous "market adjustments" creatively established by the bean counters, the guys who ultimately put fat bonuses in their pockets?
Our profession have been destroyed by our egoism, selfishness or utter disdain.
Many guys are already making less than bus drivers or at McDonalds.
Away from family on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, kid's/wife's birthdays and so on.

I must agree with BRIX, I have never read a more inhospitable, pestiferous and obnoxious post.

The one thing I have learnt in my aviation career is that what goes around comes around. I hope you are never looking for any help from a fellow pilot !

I applied to the position of FO 787 with Norwegian.
Who knows how long it takes to get a reply after doing the online assessment?

Fellow pilot” - the misguided perception of a nave chump with delusions of fraternal loyalty.

Would those fellow pilots be the same fellow pilots flocking to assist Norwegian and the smiling rock-ape in March 2015, while fellow pilots were striking over terms and conditions?

As the advertisement says, when you have completed the online tests you will not hear anything unless you failed, or next being called in for screening. They have thousands of applications and does not have the overhead to write separate emails to all applicants.

By the way, in 2016 they focus on direct entry captains and direct entry relief captains, and not first officers. This is because they need many internal upgrades (relief captains to captains) in 2017 and 2018 for the 18 new Dreamliners coming those years. So if you have 1,500 hours PIC on medium jet, or 1,500 hours as FO on wide body, and total hours of at least 5,000, you will probably get a very fast upgrade to captain joining now.

There's a lot of upgrades on the B787 fleet. Pilots that have joined as relief captains have upgraded within a year. Pilots that have joined as first officers have already upgraded to captain (via relief captain). Note that they have only been in the company 2,5 years.

The screening is a day in Oslo or London. One group exercise, an relaxed interview and two times in the simulator (B737 NG), one as PM and one as PF. The sim program is a standard PC. Focus on CRM.

Good luck.

and there is always the other side of the coin: in 2007 we were a group of 35 Pilots looking for jobs world wide, we set up a joint database where (almost) everyone poured in his information about available jobs. All of us got more or less what we wanted ( in my case 12 days on 18 days off part time contract flying A346) and we are still in contact with each other. Sharing the info beats sitting back in your hole in the ground and thinking of every "fellow pilot" as the one who will grab your chance to land that elusive job. (BTW its also an easy excuse for your undernourished ego)
Good luck to everyone, keep sharing ,
