Air Asia

Can anyone shed some light on the terms and conditions (A320 and /or A330), roster patterns and living costs at Air Asia Malaysia TIA.

Don't come to Air Asia or Air Asia X unless you are desperate for a job. It's a good training ground but not a place to build a long-term career. Mgmt only look after their own cronies. Good Luck!

Maybe, going on the fact that he's in Malaysia, he works there and is telling it because it's his own opinion. After all, the OP did ask!

Nomad the jist of what KOJ said is true a little harsh maybe but pretty much spot on - those cronies in X think its their little playgound bringing in their ex mates from MAS while so many who have paid their dues from many many moons earlier are still waiting to go across, as for AK if you need to build P1 quick there are very few places better to learn on the left than Airasia but prepare to work hard and many times you are on your own making all the decision hence the learning curve is extremely steep at AK.
All this cronism is going to come back and bite them, when the sh1t hits the fan remember i told you - SO -

Benthenomad,
Its just heads up for anyone who wants to come to AirAsia. Aint no paradise. When you're in trouble, you're pretty much on your own. Don't expect Mgmt to cover/support you. Be prepared for crazy roster with little rest unless they maxed yr hrs. Expect to attend courses on your day off with no transport allowance or whatsover! More ugly truth but thats the fact. All the best!
