Latest Pay Deals

Anyone got this year pay award agreed yet and willing to share.

We are still waiting on ours and would be interested to see what everyone else is getting?

Jet 2 are paying 2.5% on basic, and 20% on sector pay. Works out at roughly 3.5% on gross income.

Smile RPI for ex pilot....

In April 2011, basic state pension is to rise in line with the retail prices index (RPI), rather than the consumer prices index (CPI). This gives a 4.6% increase, rather than 3.1%. The lower rate will be used for other state benefits for 2011.

I heard Vigin were pitching 35% find it hard to believe.

Having just been told my pension is too be cut by 40% and another 5 years added to my LoS, i'm would like hope large pay rises can in some way compensate.

Any news from Thomas Cook
Thomas Cook pilots are tied into a 4 year pay deal signed in 2009, basically a 3 year pay freeze then RPI +2% in 2012. Thanks BALPA

So the next pay negotiations will be in 2013.

bmi gets the 4.57% deferred from 2009. That was the final year of a three year deal agreed in 2006. Previous management confirmed that they would honour deal in Dec 2008 and then changed their mind the night before salary's were deposited. Some pilots had money removed from their accounts.

I understood Monarch had a 10% pay cut, but that is only hear say. Perhaps the Flybe pay deal may not be such a bad deal after all, reading the above posts.

Math´s

Lookes like a wide trend: Revenue goes up + profit goes up + share holder value goes up = Employees pay stays the same or even goes down. Time to do something and start to not accept that.

On the similar subject I talked to PARC recently and did of course heared not anything back since, you wonder? As long as people go for it why bother brother ?

2.7% of a Thomson FO salary (rejected) is about £500 per month rise more than 3% of a flybe FO salary.

The flybe pay offer is crap regardless.

BALPA Pay rise?

I wonder how much of your money the BALPA reps have awarded themselves?

Give yourself a 1% pay rise and ditch them!!
