There was a hold pool for Airbus for the past 2 years or so. Some of those guys have been offered a short notice 330 course starting at the beginning of July. No idea if that's the pool cleared out or not. I know a few were offered BA and went there instead. id guess at the pool being empty now but it's just a guess. Perhaps they'll hire into that pool again.

How long have people been swimming for?
Applied last winter and got the 'we want 787 people, but will keep you on file.
Not heard anything since.
Did they take many short notice airbus drivers?

Hi guys/girls just a few questions on the company I know they are not currently recruiting however...
1. They implied they might need Airbus drivers in the coming future any more word on the street?
2. The pay on prune seems very high for a basic....does it include sector pay and is there an incremental pay scale? Trying to work out a take home PP1.
3. I was always told to 'stay away' by people who were made redundant, but this was a long time ago...when we're the last guys made redundant and does it feel like a stable airline?
Many thanks

Yes, hold pool is more or less empty so I believe
Circa £3900 ish take home inc sector pay 750hrs per yr (iirc been a few years now). Good pension after 6 months and benefits, no pay to fly, just a 3 yr bond
Very different management, part of delta really, feels like a proper carrier with a a plan verses what happened to us in the noughties.
No major complaints, usual grumbles but hey nowhere is perfect. Would I join now knowing what I know, absolutely!

The starting pay on PPJN is correct, £69100. Yes there are increments, goes up £4.5k in the first 2 years then approx £1.6k in the years after.
The take home depends on your personal circumstances I guess, how much you pay into the pension etc.
Add £600-£800 net per month in allowances if you include that kind of thing.
