Yes, on your days off, the very few you get, you must check out from the hotel. In your contract is written different, but Smet and Frances don't care.

FLYVER why does this concern you ,,,, werent you fired anyway. I can assure you that most of us are pretty ok with life here in Casa, its not the best but its not the worse either I suggest you find yourself a job and find useful time and useful remarks to post. in case you had not noticed things are rough out there for the moment for everyone and all airlines. it is obvious that you have a thing against both people mentioned but have the guts to confront them personally,,,, instead of hiding behind your name when we ALL know who you are get a life and stop moaning its gettting boring, some of the other people on this thread are trying to discuss interesting topics........... man you are sad

Nightrider though isnt it better that the politics and rostering are done from Zaventem dont you think?

Outsourcing is the key-word. While it helps a lot to have big brother or big mama (delete as appropriate) lending a hand while learning the way to the creche, a child has to learn to walk on it's own.
With the changes to come during the "nationalization" of 8J most politics have to be nationalized as well. And this may be supported heavily by the infrastructure change in the country. There is much more room for charter flights from other than CMN bases, as 8J has already discovered, and the LoCo market has one player less in the field now, there are no BMM flights anymore at all.

If Zaventem cannot decide about politics, and this of course based on commercial issues, they would not be interested in this green outfit at all. The direction this airline will move is exclusively based on the interests of the new partner, which by law will have to take a crumble more of the cake than Zaventem.

Soldiers are in place to enforce the HQ directives, but soldiers can easily be replaced as the past has shown; it all depends on muscle flexing during the next months or so.

However, due to the 8A / RAM integration and associated changes, there is and will be a great opportunity for fast actors to collect the abandoned business from RAK and AGA, a few slices 8J has obviously already loaded on the plate. Does this imply that 8J is changing into what 8A was pre-25th October? Good luck, I think it was a smart move.

hello i just registered as I wanted my say.

Flyver I am so glad you have gone as you were a total pain to fly with.

seconldy I have been with this company a couple of years now and I think that F Smet is a very decent individual. for those of you that dont know him he is young. good looking and decent, and yes all the cabin crew fancy him. ( is that your problem flyver) so you are either jealous of him or fancy him yourself flyver, But joking apart he is a decent individual who certainly helped me out in the past when I had a problem.

Also I work for Contractair and I cannot accept flyvers comments and for those of you who have just joined it cannot be easy for this agency or any other when Jet4You and their total lack of of an HR department keep trying to change everything, you cant keep up with it, But saying that I always get a response within hours of sending one, I am always paid on time, I am insured and I have no complaints. For those of us that have been here for a couple of years and have accepted the Moroccan way of life we dont want people coming here trying to upset things as nearly all of us are happy both with the company and the agency. I think what people like Flyver has to learn is how to adjust and how to ask, but that was obvious to me that all he wants to do is moan. anyway for my part I have no complaints I have a job and I am paid. but the happiest part of my day today is bye bye Flyver......... you wont be missed

How was that for my first post

Are you sure that all fancy him??? Do I recall a good-bye mail (which circulates all around aviation world) from a very kind gentleman in which you can find in excellent wording the unsuccessful attempt of the very same decent individual abusing his position to get into the lingerie of female cabin crew? Perhaps this came to light only and the other attempts did not make it to the keyboard as a story. And there were more than a handful of attempts; I leave it up to you to count the successful ones and the unsuccessful ones.

This policy was not issued in Zaventem, just for clarification.

Well, you can de-register again...face the real world.

Captain RK and Captain JK, as neither of you are part of this company any more why dont you just keep your comments to yourself. I dont understand why when you have left such an "awful company" as you think it is that you cant happily get on with your lives and leave us alone. Captain JK I suppose I understand your grievance but not sure Captain RK I understand yours, I dont think I will de-register as having quite a good time figuring out who you are, and guess what it doesnt take too long nothing is perfect in life but I for one am glad I have a job and for the most part an enjoyable one. So no I am not going anywhere after all, think what I can learn from you two guys. keep smiling

allie737, now I see that you got it really wrong....at least for me. I am none of the both you mention here, also I know them both very well. The way you replied here shows also that you lack any education as it is not appropriate in this forum to mention any names or initials. Use your time in a more job dedicated manner and you may be able to do a better job.

As far as "leave us alone" goes....it is most apparent that your statements given above needs some real inputs. Don't you think it is only fair to show the interested colleagues the facts instead of painting a picture which is not even close to matching anything?

You are not going anywhere else? Of course not....until the orders are given to go.

And yes....you make me smile.

Bond?

All,

I am led to believe that there is a bond for type rated captains. How much is it?

According to latest info, the bond is 18500 Euro for a year, not depreciating with months worked.Seems rather high but it does state 4 sim sessions plus the Moroccan DAG test and the OCC course, hotac and travel..Hmm?

No sick pay, means just that, if you're sick you don't get paid. No notice, if they don't want you, it's bye bye with no pay in lieu of notice.Overtime is paid at the end of the year if the contracted hours are exceeded rather than on a monthly basis.

You are quite correct - 18,500 is too high but thank you very much for letting me know.
