Very interesting. Flew with a trainer not that long ago and according to him the company was looking to hire between 40 and 50 new F/O's. Between 14 and 17 upgrades and 8 guys (including one captain) moving over to the A330.
However it would not suprise me if it all has changed again. It seems that the trainers are normally the last ones to find out!
Fleet wise: 2 'new' A321's in the spring, 1 'new' A321 late fall early winter and maybe one A320 to leave the fleet. But this unit might be staying after all. They cant decide what to do with it.

A300 Life at Monarch
I'm looking at A300 F/O position in the new year - would anyone be kind enough to give me some more detailed information on the 'typical' frequency and duration of nights away. Please PM if that would lead to a more detailed answer.
Thanks
Thanks

Cliff, u'll have the most stable roster in the mad house, some long haul in the winter, long night flights in the summer, become a dab hand with the qrh. Little chance of the 78 though, high chance in 3 years you will be going back and forth to Iberia for the next 10 years on a minibus.
Good widebody experience my friend.
