Easyjet flight pay Direct Entry SFO
I will be joining Easyjet as a direct entry SFO and am hoping to be based at Gatwick. Can anyone advise me how much I can expect to earn after tax? I have done all possible searches on all possible sites and threads, and reckon I'll be taking home circa £2,800 per month after tax, (100% after 6 months)before flight pay is taken into account. I'd be grateful if anyone would be in a position to confirm this and possibly advise how much flight pay I should expect to take home at the end of the month after tax. And indeed what the total DE SFO take home amounts to.
Any other info eg no of 2 sector days (if any), working atmosphere (heard/read some negative feedback), greatly appreciated.
Flybe sucks.

hi
money figures are correct more less. Between 2800 and 3300 pounds (all togheter, net) depending on hrs and allowances.
atmosphere is good and conditions getting better and better. expect to fly anything between 70 and 99 hrs a month, few 2 sects day expecially at LGW id say. would advise u to go for another base, STN is ok if ure looking for London bases, the continent even better.
good luck

Yup, pretty much spot on with the money there. Flight pay obviously varies with how many sectors flown - quite lean in months with leave but average £400ish. Sorry to hear flybe sucks, you'll enjoy the stability of the fixed pattern, nice new equipment and good morale - even better in the regions apparently.
Overall, if your income suffers slightly after leaving flybe it'll only be for the short term. The rest of the t's & c's more than make up for it.

skokiaan and 50% many thanks for the info. No problem with 4 sector days - was just wondering what to expect when at work. V happy with the roster pattern and Gatwick is my closest airport. Had heard reports of £700-£800 per month flight pay net which I didn't believe so your info makes sense. Also nice to hear there is a good atmosphere there. Looking forward to joining. What are the crews like? Captains/CC - all happy, pleased to be there?

u ll find a bit of everything as usual..but generally speaking i usually meet positive people enjoying what they do.
Plenty of brand new capts expecially at LGW, many of them in they re late 20's..again, pleasure to fly with in most cases.
CC, depends..ull really find a bit of everything, changes vey much from base to base as well.
as always, anything is what u make of it, just keep a positive attitude and i think ull enjoy it.
good luck
